To think that love at first sight is a real thing?

I totally believe in it. Not lust at first sight, but total "soul mates in a previous life" type feelings. But AIBU?
Watching a movie earlier with a friend who reckons LAFS is just a big load of bollocks. What do we think?

I don't know about love at first sight but I knew the moment I met my DH that we would spend the rest of our lives together.

Knew the second I laid eyes on now-DH that we would end up hitched! Was in no way seeking a relationship, or a sort who believed in the thunderbolt....

I'd have to agree with others that it doesn't seem possible to have true genuine love for someone if all you know about them is their physical appearance.

That said, I once met someone and knew very quickly that I would fall for her, and that's exactly what happened. It grew.
