I work for a very powerful man, in a chain of command that means I have several bosses

Last night I had sex with a nice woman that I met quite naturally.

Due to accidentally swapping pagers I have discovered she is an escort, and my career could be over.

In addition to this, being so stressed out, I randomly blurted this out to a stranger who I was supposed to be showing around the building

It turns out I've just told the daughter of one of my bosses that I might have slept with a hooker

What do I do now?

arranfan · 23/07/2018 12:31

MrStark - that nice Sam Seaborn just turns on the edible charisma, unleashes the smile and gets nowhere with Mallory as they are bumbling around The West Wing

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 23/07/2018 12:45

Yes

I slept with a random man I met at a bar last night, and then dismissed him only to discover, on my first day at work that he is one of my mentors. My boss is an old friend of my mothers and I am desperately trying to avoid him as my mother has a dreadful illness and has sworn me to secrecy. How will I get through the working day?

Grey's anatomy!

MipMipMip · 24/07/2018 23:04

So my totally lame sister is out to ruin my life! She's all serious and boring and 90's grunge. And I FINALLY got my dad (he's like WAY paranoid that I will get pregnant. As if!) to say I could go to prom but only if she goes too. Which she totally won't do. I wonder if she's gay? Anyway, this guy I kinda like has got another guy (hot with a moody thing going on) to take her out and get her to agree to go to prom with him so that I can go. This could totally work!

kikisparks · 25/07/2018 07:05

@MipMipMip 10 things I hate about you?

kikisparks · 25/07/2018 07:12

I’m looking after bad people, really bad, pretty much evil, but one of them seems to be able to do miraculous things. I think there’s something different about him compared to the others. I don’t feel like he did what they say he did. However there’s usually only one way out of this place for them, and it’s a one way ticket.

MipMipMip · 25/07/2018 07:57

You got it Kiki!

The Green Mile? It's on my to read list but I know the film.

kikisparks · 25/07/2018 08:22

@Mipmipmip yep I’ve read it but couldn’t watch the film.

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 03/08/2018 01:17

Resurrecting the thread as the film I just watched is a good one.

I had a friend at work. Like her to talk to and invited her to my NYE party but wouldn't say we are over close, she doesn't have much family and I really feel for her :

BUT

Recently she invited me to her wedding, the wedding took place in a hospital chapel as her fiancé has recently been unwell. At the altar my friend announced to her PILs that she was in love with the grooms brother and that she had lied to them all for weeks about her relationship - the grooms ex a married woman then burst in to halt the ceremony.

WIBU to give this woman a wide berth from now on!? She is clearly a bit unstable and dramatic no wonder she has few friends
