“Generally Mixed race children are the most adorable”

But you wouldn't actually say that to the parents of a white baby. That's the point. It's what people say without thinking that causes offense.

But you wouldn't actually say that to the parents of a white baby.

It would probably be acceptable for a white person to say a white baby looks Winston Churchill or ET but not for non-white people. And ditto if you replace white baby with any other ethnicity baby.

It’s just as offensive as saying ‘Generally white children are the most adorable’.

I’m not sure it’s as racist as saying white babies are generally more adorable. Mixed race / multi racial can be a mix of any races, white babies aren’t.

Well it’s not nice when you are the mixed race child constantly being told how beautiful/lovely/cute you are and even at a young age you are well aware that your darker cousins are not being made such a fuss off

It may not come from a racist point of view but the standards we hold up in society of being the most beautiful are European so

It’s othering and why do this to children. It’s also giving a message oh you are more acceptable for being mixed Hmm It’s 2020 come on let’s move on from this nonsense
