Check out the legal definition of rape in this country. It's legally (and physically) impossible for a woman to rape anyone which is why Vanessa George couldn't be convicted of rape.

Actually a woman has been found guilty of rape in the uk and women are frequently found guilty of rape in other countries for a variety of sexual crimes.

I fundamentally believe that rape and aggressive sexual assault should remain different because rape being a crime only committed by males makes understanding crime stats so much easier.

However, I think we have to accept now that so many countries call ASA rape, and charge women and men with it, that we can no longer assume.

IFAIK, the woman who was charged with rape in the UK was part of a gang rape that she actively participated in. So a (number of) penis were still involved.

The majority of all violence is committed by males. The vast majority of all sexual violence is committed by males. According to official stats, men make up 90% of those imprisoned for violent offences in the UK and 98% of those imprisoned for sexual offences. The majority of women in prison are there for non violent offences. They have a much higher likelihood of having been the victims of child sexual abuse and domestic violence than women in the general population. It is not right to lock these often vulnerable women up with male bodied sex offenders no matter how said sex offenders identify.

But the UK has separate legal systems it was Scotland and she was guilty by assistance not actual rape.

And it is important not to forget biology. The average biological male (XY) is stronger and heavier than the average female (XX). If you consider the biology then you will see a biological woman is far more likely to be the victim than the perpetrator.

Oh and please get terminology correct it is possible to change gender but not sex. A transsexual woman will always be XY that cannot change no matter what surgery or pro noun they choose.

That’s presuming the baby is female. Like I said I’m on the side of the victim and that’s who you should be talking about. Not whether the perp identifies as male or female.

I would say that the correct classification should be a male woman.

Sex as in biology, xx = female, xy = male

Gender as in social construct, woman or man.

So a female xx that has gender reconstuctive surgary is a female man.

A male xy that has gender reconstructive surgery is a male woman.

Stats on crime etc should be defined by biological sex with gender as a secondary function.
