Then we were talking about packing for holidays when he said I’ve just bought a few more of these pointing to his best top

I think they look unattractive. Polo shirts would be a better option or even linen shirts

Leave the men alone, it's not hot for long and they can look attractive for you when it's cooled off a bit

I'm on holiday at the moment and lots of men are wearing vest tops and they look good on them. My DH is one of them.

There have been a number of women in bikinis that look horrendous, but they obviously feel confident (stomachs hanging over and massive thighs) to wear them. It's a matter of choice.

Showing arms or shoulders isn't showing off flesh and yes, I've noticed a bug double standard on this thread. Very sad indeed.

You sound a bit defensive. But anyway, in the sun - if you care about your skin - it is wise to cover up. Linen is way cooler as are many quality cotton shirts - long sleeved please.

Luckily my OH is conventionally handsome, has good taste and wouldn’t be seen dead in a vest top. Neither would I.

jeeeezz when is it one moment people are banging in about woman being able tonwrar What they want. don't be judgemental then the next second people shouldn't wear a simple and basic item of clothing.

I loathe men in vest tops. I think they look sweaty and revolting. However, I saw Aidan Turner in the Lieutenant of Inishmore recently. He wore a dirty, bloodstained vest for the entire play and I could have licked him from head to toe. So there are obviously exceptions to everything.

That's quite different isn't it. Bikinis or swimming costumes are expected at the beach/pool and you'd look odd fully clothed.

Said I know best tips are practical and sometimes when it’s so hot you just want to wear something. That lets you cool down
But I think you look better in t shirts esp white ones

Just loving it!! Fair dinkum, that's all I'm saying! I Wouldn't ever tell DP what not to wear, might drop subtle hints that other things looked reeeeeally good, as I hope he'd do the same.
