The Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki, coming so soon after Trump’s ally-crumbling display in Britain and at the EU, is still sinking in. Let’s just say: he’s in all kinds of shit. All the kompromat.

Trump - " The queen reviewed her honour guard for the first time in 70 years and we walked in front of it"

NO. YOU walked in front of her.

Apparently he tackled 'humanity' with Putin....

I cannot believe what he is saying.

He says he is much better at diplomacy than upsetting people.

Oh, brother! He really thinks we all just fell off the turnip truck, doesn't he?

Off to make another Capt & Coke.

From CNN Live, this is pretty remarkable, yet unsurprising:

Immediately after his news conference alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Donald Trump's mood was buoyant, people familiar with the matter said.

He walked off stage in Helsinki with little inkling his remarks would cause the firestorm they did, and was instead enthusiastic about what he felt was a successful summit.

By the time he'd returned to the White House just before 10 p.m. ET on Monday, however, his mood had soured.

Predictably, the President was upset when he saw negative coverage of the summit airing on television aboard Air Force One. It was clear he was getting little support, even from the usual places.

He vented to aides traveling with him, including new communications chief Bill Shine and policy aide Stephen Miller. First lady Melania Trump was also aboard and was involved in some of the discussions, but not all of them, the people familiar with the matter said.

Apparently he said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia
not
I don't see any reason why it would be Russia

In the name of all that is holy, his advisers have had to work bloody hard to come up with that one!

The queen reviewed her honour guard for the first time in 70 years

What the fuck does that even mean? HM reviews her honour guard or some type of troop with just about every visiting dignitary, doesn't she? He just fucking can't stand not having some type of 'extra special treat' just for him. Bet he expected to get all the sugar roses on the cake when he was a kid, too. Asshole!

Tape running on MSNBC. Obviously reading from a script. And you can see that he HATES having to do it and didn't put in much 'rehearsal time'. Let's see how many adjectives he adds.......

The Queen has inspected guards ever since she's been the Monarch!

He has notes but is now rambling

Report
Roussette · 17/07/2018 19:55

Yes, back to the notes. Must be painful for him. Bet he can't leave it as just the notes.

I am falling around laughing at the would/wouldn't mistake. He went on and on about it. Need to read Twitter, they'll wipe the floor with him with that twaddle

He really has no sense of self-criticism, does he? He can do no wromg in his own eyes. Personally, I still think he's a lying, cockwombling, wankspanner dotard, son and heir of a mongrel whoreson zed.

NEW: The Special Counsel's Office notifies the court that they will seek immunity for up to 5 people to testify under conditions of immunity in the upcoming trial against Paul Manafort in Virginia.

They say these people have not been publicly named before in the case.

The Special Counsel's Office says they aren't sure if they will call any of the witnesses so they want to file the requests for immunity under seal.

From the filing: “The motions indicate that the named individuals will not testify or provide other information on the basis of their privilege against self-incrimination, and that the government is requesting that the Court compel them to testify at the upcoming trial.”

When you misspeak and miss saying 'not', it's obvious and people look blank because it's against the sense of what you are saying. This wasn't the case. MSNBC are getting v frustrated at the inconsistency of it all but it's irrelevant because he's just given the GOP and friendly press a get out clause. He home free.... again. Angry
