Parking situation on my new road.

I have just completed on a new house. When I viewed it I spent time on different days popping by the road at different times of day to checkout the parking situation and all was fine. My house and the one opposite have a drive for 1 car odd road and the others have space for 2. I only have one car.

The house opposite was for sale at the same time and the new occupants have just moved in a couple of weeks after me.
They have 6 cars!!!! (Green)

I have tried my best on the diagram to illustrate where everyone tends to park - each house has a coloured for above and then their cars are the same colour lines.
I only have one car so my driveway is ample however with green house wankers parking their cars all over the place - mainly at the end of the cul de sac - it's really hard to get out of my drive with cars also parked on the road in between my house (red) and my nice NDN (blue)

I've popped round and introduced myself and explained asking them politely not to park the three cars at the the end of the cul de sac (which is a dropped kerb. But they closed the door in my face and I haven't seen them since. Tonight they've got all of their cars all over the road as per the diagram.

What's my best course of action here?

Nanasueathome · 17/07/2018 21:47

How long is the wait going to be?

JennaTools · 17/07/2018 21:48

I'm pushed for time so a disappointment in the diagram front tonight my friends

So they've parked two at the end and then two behind them!! (One over their drive and then one next to that one)!!!!!!

They're green
I'm purple NNDN is blue and parked in a different spot to usual to save the space on the road for me, it's like ducking Tetris

Two at the end of the cul de sac
1 on the drive
1 blocking the drive
1 next to that which is essentially just in the middle of the road
1 which is there 90% of the time same spot on the road against the proper kerb (an actual space)

So now they are completely impeding your access to your drive?

JennaTools · 17/07/2018 21:50

I reckon I could squeeze on with help but have to leave at 5am tomorrow so can't risk being clocked

Cupcakecafe · 17/07/2018 21:50

Has them parking like that blocked your drive again?
Is one car seriously parked in the middle of the road?!

mermaidsandunicorns · 17/07/2018 21:51

Please put the note that they placed on your windscreen back on ALL of their windscreens

WipsGlitter · 17/07/2018 21:51

Total arse holes. Call the police. There's an abandoned car in your road.

Ellie56 · 17/07/2018 21:51

You need to contact the council. This is batshit.

imnotreally · 17/07/2018 21:51

You could report the car in the middle of the road as abandoned.....

JennaTools · 17/07/2018 21:51

I think they've done it thinking now there's no one in the end 'space' nearest my drive I could get in - I think this is their idea of compromise.
I've taken loads of photos.

WiltedDaffs · 17/07/2018 21:51

Wow. They really do think they own the road.

BlooBagoo · 17/07/2018 21:52

How long are you working away? We need NNDN to update us if you're away for more than a day. Especially if there's a chance they'll use your driveway in that time.

Semster · 17/07/2018 21:52

That car in the middle of the road is stopping a fire engine from being able to get to your house.

gottastopeatingchocolate · 17/07/2018 21:53

Came for an update... wasn't disappointed!
Maybe you could just paint some parking bays all down the road and not worry about using it as a road at all!! ;-)

Cupcakecafe · 17/07/2018 21:53

Nah they aren't trying to compromise.
It's a "well you said parking at the end blocked your drive so we didn't🤷‍♀️"
They're purposely trying to be awkward I reckon
