No real reason why!

I've always loved McQueen and Fairbanks.

We have Stanhopes back in the family tree, I'd have loved that.

I am also envious of His Honour Stephen Wildblood QC. There's a name.

carmelsundae · 15/07/2018 10:26

There was a guy on Britain's got talent a few years ago who's name was Joe Oakley. I thought that was a great name, it just flies so well!

I knew someone who changed their name to Iffy Boatrace.

I like Middleton

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 15/07/2018 11:47

Yes I like bonkers names that don't sound like they're written

I've also come across the name Smellie which I found hilarious

BitOutOfPractice · 15/07/2018 11:53

I knew a girl called Shirley Bytheway when I was a kid. I always thought that would be a great name to have. Now I'm an adult I'm not so sure.

My surname is very boring and common but often gets an s added to the end as others have it with the s.. Someone in work with a very different job with the s ends up with a lot of my emails and I have to say constantly I'm not a plural 😁 my DP has a Scottish surname that's easy to pronounce wrong and I know I'm in for a life of correcting people if we get married!
I absolutely love saying Benedict Cumberbatch out loud!!

Frenchmom · 15/07/2018 23:12

Hangingaroundtheportal,
I also knew a Cakebread, got married to a Plaice. Could it be the same one?

LadyRussell · 15/07/2018 23:13

puppymouse · 15/07/2018 23:38

Based on the daily requirement in this house to read DD a Mr Men book before bed my favourite is Dr Makeyouwell who pops up in some of the stories. I remember hearing it as a child and not understanding the joke. Luckily at 38 I do.

DrFoxtrot · 15/07/2018 23:46

My pretend secret agent alias name is Penelope Goldman Grin outed to anybody who might know this ridiculous piece of information.

Apart from my kids, the best thing my XH gave me was a nice surname.
