@NanaNoodleman yup my dad was spat at and much worse by his former classmates. (Both of my parents are miners children and dad joined the police force to get out of home).

He also anonymously sent coal to our neighbours in the winter when their kid was sick and mum often asked for DIY help, and slipped a bit extra cash to those around when Dad was perfectly capable of doing it himself but they wanted to help out the others on their street without insulting the cause (which they backed).

Dad never says anything beyond 'I had a family to support' but mum has told me that he stressed about his friends and neighbours situation a lot.

Not everyone afforded him the same courtesy.

At the end of the day, we are all just people.

Thing is, there seems to be increasingly clear evidence that the Referendum was very far from Democracy in Action, and in fact was hugely corrupt. And bearing in mind how very close the vote was, it seems clear that ANY outside influences may have had a big impact on the result.

How can we call the result of the Referendum democratic? When the winning side cheated? How can we just march blindly on doing their will, as if it doesn't even matter?

Maybe Hunt will end up holding all the cabinet jobs
