That's all, folks! Goodness only knows what happens now. But at least that Grade A twat is no longer representing us abroad.

Bluntness100 · 09/07/2018 19:05

I'd also disagree, Corbyn is labour. He may be unpalatable, unelectable, incapable, a back bench rabble rouser with a very dodgy past and some shameful ideals and a party divisive. But labour he is, and the leader of it too. That's labours shame and labours misfortune.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:07

do we ever get to the bottom of this?

Tories have not tackled Islamophobia, Conservative Muslim Forum says

Answers on a commerative Brexit stamp please.

ThePlanetGoesOnBeingRound3 · 09/07/2018 19:07

@Seasawride
'Kinnock cleared it out'

He did not clear socialism and democracy from the party, though I will grant you he tried his hardest.

I am Labour, are you?
Are you attending ward meetings?

No point in asking, you'll lie and say you are when you aren't.

Otherwise you would know that Momentum is a force for good in the Labour Party.

Entryism?
Tony Blair personified entryism.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 09/07/2018 19:08

Ghost of - do you have to be a middle class hippy to join momentum, or do they let anyone in?

Heyduggeesflipflop · 09/07/2018 19:09

The planet - momentum is a bit like what the brown shirts were to the nazi party...

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:10

I'm working class and socialist sweetie. Its why the right wing bean counters here are worried. Tory neo liberalism is a busted flush.

Seasawride · 09/07/2018 19:10

No I disagree I see labour as a broader church so Yvette, er Yvette now struggling!!!

The present front bench are appaling! Rebecca long Bailey et al.

You may be right but labour was a bloody wonderful movement in its day. Has it had its day??

I don’t honestly know and I grew up labour and voted labour.

Maybe we need a new centre party??? New thread perhaps

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:11

The planet - momentum is a bit like what the brown shirts were to the nazi party...

stocked up on the tin foil hats have we?

Heyduggeesflipflop · 09/07/2018 19:12

Ghost of - get yourself acquainted with the tactics employed during the Munich putsch. Your lot are fans of direct action after all

Bluntness100 · 09/07/2018 19:12

I genuinely think you might be over egging it if you think anyone is worried. Honestly. The only people who should be worried is the good people who support labour and will never see them in power when Corbyn is in the chair.

Seasawride · 09/07/2018 19:13

Lol you ain’t working class with the sweetie!

That’s bloody hilarious! You should have done love, duck or even hun! You need to watch love island or Eastenders.

Sweetie is far too Chelsea pet.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 09/07/2018 19:13

I’m a Tory - but the Labour Party has a proud history as a political party.

The current opposition front bench do not feature in that proud tradition

BishopBrennansArse · 09/07/2018 19:15

I'm amazed at how some of you would rather see the further privatisation of the nhs and further cuts to the nhs and education just because you don't like the personality of the opposition leader.

Look at policies not personalities.

Personality politics is why we keep tunnelling further and further into the shit.

ThePlanetGoesOnBeingRound3 · 09/07/2018 19:15

@Heydugeesflipflop

If we're talking 'brown shirts' and Nazi's...perhaps we should look at Boris and his pals, and then everyone who votes Tory?

letstalk2000 · 09/07/2018 19:15

I give a Corbyn Government propped up by the SNP,. PLAID, LIB DEMS and the GREENS about 6 months before calamity ! That unholy alliance is the only way possible for Labour to form a Government .

Even if the impossible happened (this being to last more than 6 months) There would be a high likelihood of serious 'disorder' within 18 months of such a Government .

Seasawride · 09/07/2018 19:16

tin foil hats

Now was that a class trip to the imperial war museum or your chat with your old working class grandad , the Earl of let’s not say?

Sweetie

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:16

Lol you ain’t working class with the sweetie!

Right, whatever if growing up on northern council estate is middle class then you believe that.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:18

I'm amazed at how some of you would rather see the further privatisation of the nhs and further cuts to the nhs and education just because you don't like the personality of the opposition leader.

The Tories shills here don't give a shit about austerity or privitatisation. Party before country and to hell with everyone else.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 09/07/2018 19:19

Go for it ghost of! You can prove you are much more working class than literally anyone else. Did you get coal for Christmas? Do you have a regional accent?

The people must know.

Doesn’t change your immature political views.

Sweetie.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:19

All the Tory shills here have are slogans and tabloid scare stories.

If the Tories were good for Britain and British people they'd be talking about their wonderful record of achievements over the last 8 years.

BishopBrennansArse · 09/07/2018 19:20

Quite. And how people are so obsessed with Corbyn they think he will become some kind of despot and force through his agendas. No. He's strongly supported party policy being decided by the party and accepted policy being created that he personally doesn't support because it's the will of the party - democracy.

Bluntness100 · 09/07/2018 19:20

It's all moot. Corbyn does not wish to go in there and negotiate Brexit. He wants to do what he's always done, sit in opposition and rabble rouse. That's who he is. If anyone genuinely believes that 70 year old bloke wants to step up and start negotiating Brexit and lead the country through it, they are totallyand utterly deluded.

He wants to be in opposition and he will make absolutely sure thats exactly where he stays.

Seasawride · 09/07/2018 19:21

Bishop

Not looking at personality but competence.

HeyDuggies totally sgree, a strong opposition is key to good government.

ThePlanet

Don’t disagree but the far left is as dreadful as the far right so momentum and the communist part are as bad as EDL and the far right.

Agree with you very scary. Hope you agree too. Putin is as bad as Trump. Far right and far left.

Both very frightening

GhostofFrankGrimes · 09/07/2018 19:21

Go for it ghost of! You can prove you are much more working class than literally anyone else. Did you get coal for Christmas? Do you have a regional accent?

You think poverty is funny? Such a caring Tory, concerned about the plight of ordinary folk.

BishopBrennansArse · 09/07/2018 19:23

I don't think for one minute Corbyn will negotiate Brexit. That'll be delegated.

I'd love to know what's considered competent about May.
