Apparently David Davis has resigned as Brexit Secretary .

Trump wouldn't be the slightest bit interested but might raise enough energy to suggest Lord Alan Sugar for PM. Or Tommy Robinson, if Miller were at the meeting.

Somehow my brain had protected me from remembering too much about him at once. Seeing it written down altogether is painful.

Even in the midst of campaigning for Brexit, he did not actually know enough about the EU to realise members cannot independently make trade deals. He claimed the UK would make a trade deal with Germany.

And he seemed to have genuinely not grasped that Ireland is not in the UK. And not a colony.

I have no words.

Apparently someone called Jeremy Wright is replacing Matt Hancock as the new Culture Secretary.

You mayn't have Damian Collins for anything.

He's doing far too good a job chairing the DCMS committee on Fake News (inc Russian misinformation), and I may have to send him chocolates and flowers and beg him to stay there.

Always good to have a culture secretary who supports banning books in prisons. FFS.
