There's some really funny people on here and some stuff has me smiling for days. One I read recently was about the names small children called their parents instead of Mummy and Daddy. One poster wrote that her DC called her DH "Daddy" and called her "Not Daddy" - still makes me smile.

'Snapped and farted' passed me by until today but I've just had a whale of a time reading that thread and the related one. I was just about holding it together until the OP popped up on the related thread and protested 'I didn't fart AT him!' Just tipped me over the brink... my sides hurt now.

it was years ago and I think in chat. Back when you didn't have chains of text messages IYKWIM. The OP and her husband were trying to work out what the text preceding one the one she'd sent that said "yes, with a wooden spoon" was. The first suggestion was "you say the dish ran away?" it was so fast I really did LOL quite a lot.

The Maui thread was brilliant too. The indignation of the op was just fantastic
