I don't think iabu to rearrange your knicker drawer, just being helpful! Any questions on how to be a good mummy or what amount of sugar is appropriate for a 2 year old?

Oops ignore me, I didn’t read the context of the thread.
Bad day indeed 🙂

Why do you insist on giving my twins extremely different amounts of money every year for their birthdays and buying presents that would suit kids ten years younger or old ladies in a nursing home for all three of my kids? Is it to deliberately insult them or are you just crap at presents? The twelve year old was far less excited by the crocheted coat hangers with beads and roses on them than you may have imagined....

DottyBlue2 · 17/08/2018 23:44

Why do you "pass wind" in the car and pretend it wasn't you? 😷

eliza456 · 17/08/2018 23:51

Why do you treat your adult sons as if they were still 12 years old?

Mrsmadevans · 17/08/2018 23:54

Why did you tell me we were irresponsible having another baby after 13 yrs of infertility and 2 mc ?

DeadDoorpost · 17/08/2018 23:58

I'm flattered that you adore me but I can't cope with your constant need to talk. I like quiet. It's why FiL is better.

Also your cooking isn't as good as everyone says it is. DH learned the hard way to stop comparing it.

But thank you for raising a lovely son. Just a shame you have favourites...

I've read its important to treat twins as individuals.

As for the presents I like to be frugal and pick things up in the charity shop so I can save for the Bingo.

I think you'll find the one who smelt it dealt it.

Sorry about that I may have been being a bit of a cow.

Your FiL is the same he sometimes puts in the earplugs and just nods away. Silly old goat!

Why do you have to stay for 10 full days at Christmas?

When we invited you to stay for “Xmas” - we didn’t mean you stay until well into the New Year.

Why did you “offer” to bring a turkey to feed 11 people - but then turn up with a chicken to feed 4?

Tortycat · 18/08/2018 00:38

Why do you never ask me or your son anything about our lives?

MervynBunter · 18/08/2018 00:41

Is it OK to tell my DW that when your cheating bastard of an ex-H died, you and I went down the pub while DW and her siblings were at the funeral?

I thought as a MNer you would be able to make it stretch

Will you be watching me as I piss and dance on your grave. As a thanks for all the nasty treatment, judgement and abuse that I endured for over 25 years. I can’t wait and hopefully won’t be long for the woman who made my life hell when I did everything to make her accept me and like me. Nothing was good enough for her and her little prince.

Fabricwitch · 18/08/2018 00:45

Why do you blame me for your son's wrong-doings when you were the one who raised him?

I find it all out as gossip from your Sil

As long as you don't tell her about that little dance I did on the table after my 5th large gin. Happy days!

I did mention earlier in the thread that I plan to be buried at sea to prevent this sort of thing.

As I recall it was after the 2nd - and they weren't larges ones either!

Why do you blame me for your son's wrong-doings when you were the one who raised him?

It's a technique I learned when I used to work in local politics.

Why did you pass my photo around amongst your friends and ask them if they had any single relatives to match me up with, after I was married to your equally insane son?

Just a bit of forward planning in case you didn't turn out to be a good match for DS.
