I went to Norfolk in May, staying in a an amazing house on the beach. France for 4 day’s with hubby in a couple of days time, Spain in August, meeting friends there and hired a villa for a week. Mind you when the weathers like this I would quite happily stay in the uk

kaytee87 · 28/06/2018 21:32

@Gin96 ooh did you like Norfolk? Do you have small children? Any tips on things to do?

Kay Norfolk is fantastic with young dc. I've been 3 times - stayed in cottages and safari tents (with own loo). So much to see and do and very beautiful.

We are going to Menorca for 2 weeks. Been before so I know what to expect. Great beaches, fab food, chilled vibe plus seeing friends.

JourneyToThePlacentaOfTheEarth · 28/06/2018 21:39

We're off to Duinrell in Holland for the first time. 8 days. Dh and i and 3 dc. Hoping for decent weather

TheClitterati · 28/06/2018 21:40

We stayed at a place called Winterton on Sea, fantastic beach, lovely safe beach for young children

GemmaB78 · 28/06/2018 21:46

Slovenia and Croatia for 2 weeks. Campervan so no definite plans yet: we will see where the mood takes us.

Shockers · 28/06/2018 21:49

Will start the holidays with a music festival in North Wales, then will move my van to Anglesey for a couple of weeks. DH and teens will pop in and out of that arrangement.

Might take it to Brittany for another couple of weeks, or could stay in the UK, depending on how the fancy takes me.

Then flying to Lisbon for a week, with DH and teens and girlfriend of boy teen, at the end of the holidays, but staying on a beach about 30 mins away. We’d like to do a city/major relaxation break.

Faster · 28/06/2018 21:50

Malta is fab! I love it!

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 28/06/2018 21:51

Crete for a week in July. Then Wales and Ireland for a total of 9 nights in August (via ferry).

I’m considering either Lanzarote or Cyprus, and then Northern Ireland/Scotland for next year.
