We are going to Cornwall for 2 weeks, a few miles outside Padstow. Close to lots of beaches and plenty to do in the areas around.

We have been to Cornwall before and always had a lovely time. We stay in self catering cottages.

Babybearsporij · 28/06/2018 21:54

Spain - Costa Dorada. All inclusive as it's just easier with DC.

Plus a week with a relative in a tourist area as well.

Faster · 28/06/2018 21:54

DS and I have our last day at a holiday camp in northern England tomorrow.

It’s my first holiday as a single mum and it could have been anywhere. I’m really bloody proud of myself. I got it for less than £100 via sun holidays and have spent a grand total of £80 on spends. And it’s been fab. We’ve picnic’d, been to the beach, the pool, messy play, soft play, animal sanctuary, eaten our body weight in ice cream, played and swung on swings. Didn’t think I’d manage. But I bloody excelled.

Guernsey and Nerja.

FurForksSake · 28/06/2018 21:55

Off to Duinrell for a week, have booked a duingalow for kids so hoping it is ok and the weather is reasonable.

BlackLambAndGreyFalcoln · 28/06/2018 21:55

Name changed as this is probably outing!

Three week road trip through Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Bulgaria. Can't wait!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 28/06/2018 21:56

Greece for a week, Legoland for a night, Paris for a weekend, camping for a long weekend, Amsterdam for a long weekend.

MetrioFrappe · 28/06/2018 21:57

We're off to Skopelos. It's the Greek island that Mamma Mia! was filmed on. My husband & I have been going every year for about 15 years. We're returning with our 3.5 year old son, 18 month old daughter & our 4 month old daughter. Thankfully nanny & grandad are coming & are going to help out.

divafever99 · 28/06/2018 21:57

Just booked for next year, then we have time to save up! 10 days in Crete, 4 star all inclusive with dd's who will be 8 and 3. Can't wait!

Thesearepearls · 28/06/2018 21:59

DH and I have been to Venice for a weekend, and Greece for a week. The kids are coming with us to our place in France which is a lovely hill village in Fayence, about 30km north of Cannes. The DCs are spreading their wings now though. DD (20) has been to Turkey this summer and DS (18) is going to Croatia and also to Shanghai.

littlemssilly · 28/06/2018 22:01

Bluestone this year. 2nd time, really like it.
We did Norfolk last year, lovely places. We stayed in a lovely cottage in Ridlington. Visited Cromer, Wells etc. Loved it with dd7. Went to bewilderwood but was a bit unimpressed and didn't stay long. Think my dd was a little old for it and it wasn't somewhere to stay all day.
We just can not afford abroad at the minute. So expensive. Lucky that dd is easily pleased with sea, sand, and castles 😊

hellosummer12 · 28/06/2018 22:01

A week in the south of France, near Perpignan, by the beach, and a week in Roses on the Costa Brava. Villas with private pools. Can’t wait.

Well done, @Faster - sounds like a fab holiday!

blueangel1 · 28/06/2018 22:03

Have just come back from a European roadtrip. We took the car on the ferry and drove through Belgium, Netherlands and Germany, staying with friends in north Germany for a few days. Amongst the places we visited were Brugge, Osnabruck, Kiel, Hamburg, Groningen and Antwerp (which is wonderful and well worth a look).

merlotmummy14 · 28/06/2018 22:07

Krakow for 3 days in August (leaving baby behind with grandparents) so excited

MillieMoodle · 28/06/2018 22:12

Tenby for two weeks in August, can't wait. Love Tenby! There is so much to do for the DC. Going with DH and DSs then DP are joining us for the last few days.

Little - we've never stayed at Bluestone but go there for the swimming pool every time we stay in Tenby. DS1 is hoping he'll be tall enough for the flumes this year as he was just under the height last year.

We had a week in Lanzarote at the start of June too, which was lovely.

No plans to go anywhere abroad next year as budget won't allow!

LazydaysofSummer · 28/06/2018 22:15

@storminaBcup and @Bitch we loved Malta, if you can look past it all being a bit beige, there are some beautiful places. Valletta is stunning and there's some lovely beaches! The water park was ace, lots of entertainment and not expensive once you are in, sunbeds are free and beers are the same price as bars outside for example.
Plus its modern history is interesting, even my 10 year old was engaged. I forgot my kindle but fund a lovely bookshop that swapped my book for just 1euro!

Gammeldragz · 28/06/2018 22:16

A week in Leek, Staffordshire in August. 2 bed apartment in am old converted mill, £350 for the 5 of us. It has a games room on a bridge room over a road, very quirky! Planning lots of walks, picnics, cycling, lakes and other wholesome outdoor things (DH is dreading it, but I organise holidays so tough lol). Money saved will go on takeaways so I don't spent a week wondering what to cook every night... Bliss.

littlemssilly · 28/06/2018 22:18

Millie -we love Tenby. Bluestone is fab. Doesn't feel busy and lots to do. Will be going to Tenby and Barafundle too. Just trying to squeeze in all the gorgeousness of Pembrokeshire 😊

ThrillitDontkillit · 28/06/2018 22:22

We did Praia Da Luz in April - the Algarve is stunning. We are also doing Crete in August with a couple of Welsh camping trip in July and September.

underneaththeash · 28/06/2018 22:22

We're going to British Columbia (and Cornwall).

TattiePants · 28/06/2018 22:23

We are going on a 3 week road trip through Germany, Austria and France in August. We did a similar holiday last year in Belgium and Netherlands and loved it.

BlackLamb I love the sound of your trip.

hooochycoo · 28/06/2018 22:24

Venice and Lucca next week!

Kittykatmacbill · 28/06/2018 22:34
