Nerja, in a weeks time, for 11 nights. Can’t wait 😊

StorminaBcup · 28/06/2018 23:04

LazydaysofSummer - thank you! That all sounds very reassuring. A few RL people have said they really enjoyed Malta too and the locals are really friendly. Fingers crossed!

Lake Garda

Clinicallysilly · 28/06/2018 23:28

Doing a week in Wales, then a week in Cumbria, then a week travelling the south coast. Might make it to Cornwall depending on finances, kids & my mental health. Got a few day trips & weddings interspersed in between to keep everyone occupied.

Bought myself a 3 month taster Art pass for £10 (you can add a guest for £5). I can visit museums, galleries & houses for free or at a discounted price.

Butlins minehead for a weekend break and first break in over 7 years Smile

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 29/06/2018 07:48

Going to Magic Natura, Benidorm. Just under a month until we go Smile
We live in Norfolk, so as long as the weather stays nice then we can spend the summer holidays at the coast. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 29/06/2018 07:52

Heading for the Cairnryan to Larne ferry first thing tomorrow morning and going to spend a week on the Antrim coast with Dh, Ds and our two dogs.

SoddingUnicorns · 29/06/2018 07:53

We’re off to Ribby Hall near Preston next week.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 29/06/2018 07:55

We went to Rome at May half term, but this is unusual for us, haven't been abroad with DC for years.

I'm taking DC on my own to youth hostel in Cornwall for couple of days in summer holidays, and we will spend time visiting family.

TistyTosty · 29/06/2018 08:00

Tenerife for 2 weeks in August, can't wait. Rented a detached villa in a rural area in the north with its own pool. (We like being away from the crowds) .
I booked the flights very early and the total cost of flights, car hire and villa is £1800.

Florida for me, my mum, my son and niece.

tactum · 29/06/2018 08:02

We had THE BIG ONE earlier in the year - Florida for 2.5 weeks over Easter with DH and 2 teens. Fabulous!

I've had 5 days in Spain with a friend this month - which was bliss! - and then in August me and another friend are taking DD and her friend to Gran Canaria for a week. DS will be going on a PGL with a mate that same week and DH will spend a week in his garden enjoying the peace and quiet! Everyone's a winner!

Xiaoxiong Mount Desert Island in Maine is gorgeous. Climbing Mount Cadillac, Sand Beach, Jordan Pond (lake), lobster pounds, whale watching, hiking, hiking etc. Really worth a visit!

MrsEricBana · 29/06/2018 08:09

*hiking & biking!

missmouse101 · 29/06/2018 08:23

Nowhere. Cannot afford to.

Oriunda · 29/06/2018 08:26

Will be in Italy with relatives for the summer - don’t class it as a holiday though, more duty. We take our real family holiday in October half term. Off to California and son is very excited.

SerenDippitty · 29/06/2018 08:29

We have to do dog friendly holidays now so two weeks in an idyllic coastal cottage on the Isle of Skye.

Mulberry72 · 29/06/2018 09:17

Benalmadena for 3 weeks in August and then LA for 10 days to see family.

implantsandaDyson · 29/06/2018 09:53

Heading off to Duinrell in a few days for a week (kids favourite place ever Grin. Then later in the summer a week or so up the Antrim coast. My kids finish school today until September so when they're back to school the two of us are heading to Benalmedena for a few days its what gets me through the 9 weeks of holidays

We go to Ibiza all inclusive every couple of years.

DesperateToPassDrivingTest · 29/06/2018 09:54

I went to Tenerife for the first time with my partner back in May and really enjoyed it! However, we have the tendency to do couple-y holidays and solo ones - this year, I am off to Devon on a watercolour painting holiday and really can't wait!

KinkyAfro · 29/06/2018 10:11

Lake Garda in July, never usually go away at the height of summer but it's my partner's birthday, a special one, so thought it would be nice to be away

angemorange · 29/06/2018 10:16

Salou for a week with DP and DS - will do a couple of day trips to Barcelona and Tarragona while we're there.

Was in Costa del Sol for long weekend with friend in May which was lovely.

Hope to do weekend to Scotland in autumn.

happy holidays everyone!

runningkeenster · 29/06/2018 10:25

No I've got a grumpy teenager who wants to spend the summer in front of his xbox. DH and I are going away for a few days at the end of August and grumpy teenager is staying with my mum while we go.

We went to the Channel Islands in May half term.

Spanglybangles · 29/06/2018 10:30

Nowhere during the summer hols this year so very grateful for the lovely weather so far. Starting a new job soon so have a few weeks of training during the summer which would have been tricky with a holiday booked.

Heading over to Houston, Texas in October holidays though to visit family and cannot wait!!

scaryteacher · 29/06/2018 10:35

Had 10 days back in the UK, seeing friends and relatives and grabbing a couple of days just for us at our favourite pub with rooms in Wiltshire. Good food, great beer, good weather.
