So either it’s a very old condom or he’s having or planning an affair.

I can only see a LOT number and some other numbers.

How long have you been together? He could have bought it five years ago or last year etc. It looks pretty worn so could be a case of forgotten about it wherever it was kept. Mates Condoms are often in vending machines or given out at clinics. It's possible they were bought in 2015,or 2017.
