All they seem to represent us keeping the rich, rich and the poor, poor. There doesn't seem to be that many rich people so why do they get so many votes?

Yanbu op..I don't get it. Aren't Labour seen as anti semetic as they don't support Israel and are therefore seen as anti Zionist. As far as can ascertain Israel have been massive cunts which has nothing to do with being Jewish but more to do with being massive cunts.

NoNotheresnolyrics · 19/06/2018 16:45

Because Labour like killing children in Iraq et al and I haven’t forgotten....

Metoodear · 19/06/2018 16:50

I also think JC dose t really want to be PM I think he’s using his position to virtual signall and attend rally’s

He’s not wanting to try and and covert Tory’s or UKIP votes and that’s the only way you can will an election but that would require a step to the middle he is unable to comprise or be pragmatic

That’s the first rule of being a leader any leader who fails to comprise is donned to failure

malificent7 · 19/06/2018 16:50

Labour don't like killing children in Iraq...they dislike evil dictators like Saddam and 9:11 perpetrators.
The Tories however like persecuting children in this country...universal credit, 2 child cap, rape clause, abolition of free school meals, school cuts, university fees...shall I go on?

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 19/06/2018 16:51

I have never and will never vote Tory

HOWEVER

As things stand there is no viable Centre Left option

I feel very let down by the current Labour Party who are a useless wet lettuce opposition who have failed to capitalise on any of the many opportunities the stories have given them to give them a kicking and are obsessed with in fighting, lack of cohesion and the anti Semitic debacle has put them back decades

I dread a future Johnson or Mogg government but feel it's inevitable unless Labour change drastically

The problem is they've forgotten their grass roots and as someone else said become a bunch of Champagne Socialists with no common ground with Mr and Mrs Bloggs on NMW in a ZHC

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 19/06/2018 16:52

*Tories not stories

malificent7 · 19/06/2018 16:53

I'd rather a champagne socialist than a massive twat though!

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 16:53

Abbott is there because he only has a handful of labour MPs who support him.

The only ‘hope’ is a post Brexit GE annihilation of labour and then a regroup with a sensible leader and I really hope it’s Yvette.

I am so old I hope to see both government and opposition working together as much as possible for a better country and if we can get rid of the ridiculous momentum and the equally ridiculous far right Disgusting chancer Boris and mad Mogg we may have a more dignified way forward.

Personally I would like Yvette as PM and Theresa as opposition leader. I think they would actually work well together for the good of the country.

What a shocker that would be aye.

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 16:54

Champaign socialists are massive twats. My sister is one Grin

ChickenOrEgg6 · 19/06/2018 16:55

While I think labour are the best of a shitty bunch a credible alternative would be most welcome.

Particularly in amongst this palava with self
ID.

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 16:55

Er labour introduced tuition fees just saying

Metoodear · 19/06/2018 16:57

It’s was me who pointed out they have thrown white working class under a bus for the yoof(who largely don’t even vote )
And women for tans

BME coin outs are largely socially conservative whatever the press would have you belive
So he is backing the wrong horses

I don’t care how many grime artists he’s pictured with they don’t bloody vote so he is a arse and virtual signaling black yoof are even less likey to vote that white yoof

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 16:58

And what metoodear said all posts Smile

NoNotheresnolyrics · 19/06/2018 16:58

malificent7 So we didn’t see any deaths in Iraq etc because of Labour decisions then? Funny that I thought it was in the thousands.

Listen, people need to stop being so nasty about they way we each vote. Some people vote for different reasons given their situation and life experiences. I vote green myself but I have nothing against anyone who votes for any other party. It’s okay for other people the think differently. It doesn’t make them bad or stupid. We all need to stop thinking in such a polorised manner. It creates tension and hostility and we will never be able to reach agreement or compromise in anything.

well the rest of the U.K. did not agree and if the polls are to believed still don’t

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 19/06/2018 16:59

Yes Tuition Fees made me so bloody angry at the time.

The very people who benefited from the old grant system robbed it from future generations.

I honestly think many degrees are no longer worth their price tag, they've devalued a degree, rather than increased its worth

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 17:00

Yes white working class arnt sexy are they. They are just fodder to Emily’s tweets.

Both sides feel this way.

And that’s how Brexit happened.

Racecardriver · 19/06/2018 17:02

As opposed to Labour which represents making everyone as poor as possible? The tories actually tax the rich really heavily (and the not so rich for that matter) so I really don't think they can be accused of favouring wealthy people, merely not over taxing them because they know that an exodus would result in economic catastrohy.

next grammer schools but only after their children have had the benefit of it of course
Blessed be the fruit

And many of them never leave the London Bubble, never meet people who aren't like them and when they do can't identify with them or their concerns

you mean lady thronberry

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 17:05

Agree Mrstark and devalued apprenticeships.

Back in the day I trained at a nursing school and got my RGN. You really don’t need a degree and thousands of pounds debt to be a great nursing sister. You will never even pay it back. Pointless

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 17:07

metoodear

Ohhhh well that says it all her ladyship scoffing at the masses.

God I dislike her even more now and that’s tough Grin

Ohmydayslove · 19/06/2018 17:13

Maybe London hard left and hard right could learn a new sign language to communicate with the masses?

So a picture of a tractor for a Devon working class personage and a whippet for those north of Watford?

That would work. Oh hard left could have clip on dreadlocks/guitar or a festival card and hard right clip on ‘reverse the hunting ban’ signs, scone recipes and save our green belt?

Xenia · 19/06/2018 17:16

Ohmy, I agree. My mother was a brilliant teacher. She went away to teacher training college, lived in for 2 years, got her Cert Ed and taught very well at primary level. These days she would need a degree and PGCE.
