I don’t understand why you can’t stay away cady , why you’re so invested

Somebody asked where I was as I hadn't been posting. I answered.
Jamoncrumpets and eeebymum are very invested and on every thread too, are you going to tell them they're over-invested and why don't they stay away too? Or is that only saved for the likes of me and sofia?

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 11/07/2018 13:59

I follow cashcarraway and I'm disappointed with the instastories and the lack of first hand enquiry into what has actually been said on these threads. It's a shame.

I haven't been on or commented on this thread for weeks - I agree that instagram is populated by some pretty objectionable people on both sides of the argument. I have actually created a new instagram account and purposfully focussed on anyone who isn't a mummy influencer or derivative thereof as how ever many I blocked on instagram, more popped up on the algorithim. I will need to block CC as today MOD and FOD and the rest of the usual suspects started creeping back onto my feed which I assume is because of CC's associations with them (however negative)

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 14:02

But you have nothing new to say cady , someone asked where u were as you’re always here, you fell right into it. The difference with jam & eeby is that they seem genuinely concerned whereas you just seem to like to argue. You’ve said before you’re not really bothered about Instagram, so I just don’t get it. You’ve every right to be here of course but I can’t see the appeal for you. Just trying to understand.

EeebyMum · 11/07/2018 14:02

NB post on 2nd July @peppap

lifeissweeeeeet · 11/07/2018 14:06

@CadyHeron: "I do not sock puppet" - OK then that very conclusively settles that.

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 14:06

Thanks eeby I saw that but didn’t notice CC tagged in there. It seems at odds with her whole ‘girl on a step waiting for mn to reply’ thing

CadyHeron · 11/07/2018 14:07

You’ve said before you’re not really bothered about Instagram, so I just don’t get it

When did I say that? Confused I'm ON Instagram. I like Instagram.
You're either confusing me with someone else who said they're not bothered about IG or you're just making stuff up now.

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 14:10

Yeah just making it up cady Confused I can’t be arsed to trawl back through these threads to quote you so I’ll leave it at that. If you get something from these these threads then crack on.

CadyHeron · 11/07/2018 14:11

The difference with jam & eeby is that they seem genuinely concerned whereas you just seem to like to argue.

No, the difference is that they think "right" for the thread. So they're "allowed" to post without being told they're over invested.
Are you only allowed to post if you are genuinely concerned about everything that everyone else is?
I'm concerned about ad transparency, I've never said otherwise. I'm concerned about putting too many identifying things out there for everyone to see, I've never said otherwise.
The only reason I seem to argue so much is because I have to keep constantly defending myself from accusations, paranoia, etc.

CadyHeron · 11/07/2018 14:14

PeppaP - I have NEVER said I'm not bothered about Instagram.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong as PeppaP said she can't be arsed and will just say I said it anyway,
Unless you mean I said I don't follow all the accounts that everybody else does? As I did say that.
I follow some of them, but not all.Just like everyone else, I bet as we can't all follow the exact same things.

jamoncrumpets · 11/07/2018 14:15

As if I'm over invested! I have a three week old baby. I'm pretty heavily invested in her right now! Just peeking in on this stuff ATM, no brain space for heavy stuff.

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 14:17

Ok cady chill, I just keep seeing your name come up over and over but nowt new being said. Sorry I don’t have a dossier of evidence to back this up but it’s just mumsnet ffs. Back yourself up, it’s important for you to be defensive, it’s cool.

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 14:18

Congrats on babyJam @jamoncrumpets

jamoncrumpets · 11/07/2018 14:19

Thanks Peppa, I'm very tired!

Fluffyrainbows · 11/07/2018 14:19

No it's because you say things like monetising your young children is the same as feeding them a vegan diet or following a religion.
And Sofia doesn't agree with Cash Carraways daughter of 7 spouting political opinions formed with the help of her mother, that's not right, but people using their 7 years olds to gain ads and make money, that's fine. No questions they can just stop when they want.
It's all just arguing for the sake of arguing. No real substance. I don't think you're mod and I don't think allergy is either (isn't mod travelling home today?) and also mod has posted as Anyalovesrose so if she was on the same threads as allergy posting that would be sick puppeting?!

CadyHeron · 11/07/2018 14:23

No it's because you say things like monetising your young children is the same as feeding them a vegan diet or following a religion.

No, someone said that the children didn't have a choice to have their pictures put up so it was wrong.
I said you could say that about anything such as dietary choices like veganism for example or religion.
Parents can choose whether they want their children on social media. As soon as the child is old enough to say they don't want it, then you respect that and don't put them out there.
Just like if they decided they wanted to eat meat, or follow a different religion to you.

Fluffyrainbows · 11/07/2018 14:40

🙄 literally no point in even responding.

EeebyMum · 11/07/2018 14:43

Why is everyone suddenly shouting about being working class

Fluffyrainbows · 11/07/2018 14:44

I have just gone back and had a good look at Cash's account. It's actually really quite something. There's a lot of true life on there and far more relatable to myself than many Insta-mums. It's a shame the first stories are her daughter and not particular watchable as that really put me off, but seeing what they've lived through I completely understand her daughter being aware of political issues and the effect things have had on them. I probably wouldn't story it with my kid though. And there is definitely more to all this than there appears to be.

EeebyMum · 11/07/2018 14:44

On IG I mean obvs. Also why is half of instamums fighting the other half about bullying by er bullying.
I’m so lost.

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 15:00

Like someone said upthread, instagram is eating itself. It’s fascinating to watch, people like NB changing their persona before our eyes in a very unsubtle way and others like potentially MP being very clever about it.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 11/07/2018 15:30

Well, guys, this escalated quickly!

Disclaimer - I am not an instamum or a relative or a friend of anyone mentioned on this thread. I'm not in a girl gang either.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 11/07/2018 15:38

I've seen some of what CC is saying about these threads. She's totally got the wrong end of the stick, hasn't she? I mean, RTFT!

PeppaP · 11/07/2018 15:49

I think CC has got swept up in the moment, provoked by messages she’s been sent. It can be hard to find these threads if you don’t know mumsnet.

Furfugsache · 11/07/2018 15:51

Well not totally the wrong end of the stick, SpongeBob. Sofia kicked off the discussion by saying she was brainwashing her daughter. If someone accused me of brainwashing my kid I think I would have a problem with it too. I hope she reads through the comments at some point and sees there is some balance here too though.
