How the hell is it possible to look like this woman??

OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

I know. Poor woman. Hope shes ok. She looks strange

NotUmbongoUnchained · 17/06/2018 21:15

My body is quite similar to hers. Nice to know how disgusting I look, thanks PP’s!

WorraLiberty · 17/06/2018 21:16

As someone who has a 'huge arse' and a tiny waist (naturally may I add) I find some of these comments a bit upsetting.

Then stop reading them Confused

You can't have got to adulthood without realising that people have very varied opinions on this sort of thing.

PaintBySticker · 17/06/2018 21:17

She doesn’t look like a real human - relative size of bottom and waist. Clever angles and photoshop I guess. It’s not something to aim for IMHO

rosesandflowers1 · 17/06/2018 21:17

To clarify I think she looks gorgeous and admire the work she clearly puts in.

Reading through again a lot of nasty negativity on this thread. Why do you want to put her down so badly?

GummyGoddess · 17/06/2018 21:17

@Thespringsthething I know he has taken steroids, but if he wasn't so genetically gifted they wouldn't have had anywhere near that effect!

I was just pointing out that her look isn't necessarily down to implants and Photoshop as muscles gained by steroid use are still real muscles and still require a huge amount of work. If only you could take steroids and have muscles magically appear. Honestly, if I didn't think I would cause myself damage I would think of steroids as a viable option, sadly I'm too cautious for that Grin

You can't have got to adulthood without realising that people have very varied opinions on this sort of thing. Hmm

meh, they are just jealous, it means you look fab with your "huge arse" and tiny waist. i'd take it as a compliment and laugh about the thousands of women trying to look like you.

ToadsforJustice · 17/06/2018 21:18

I've got underwear just like hers but in blue. We both look fabulous in our own way.

SluttyButty · 17/06/2018 21:19

Seriously? She's pouting and twisting her body. Someone purely interested in fitness would not be standing like that, hair and makeup done, pouting into a camera!

WorraLiberty · 17/06/2018 21:19

How do you know they're jealous though, ikeep?

People's tastes differ. That's life.

Yogafailure · 17/06/2018 21:20

I don't aspire to look like her either just as well really

OkMaybeNot · 17/06/2018 21:20

I know someone who looks similar to this. No surgery.

She works really hard in the gym with specific weights/workouts that enchance the bum and boobs but slim the waist. It results in a TINY waist but a curvy bum and thighs.

In her photos she looks great. In real life she looks oddly proportioned, and when she sits down - chubby. Even though she has a tiny fat percentage. It's odd.

GladAllOver · 17/06/2018 21:21

She looks so unnatural.
I hope desperately that young girls are not trying to copy her.

madeyemoodysmum · 17/06/2018 21:22

Sorry but I think she looks bloody ridiculous. Like some cartoon Jessica rabbit character!

I wouldn't want to look like that ever

Nicknacky · 17/06/2018 21:22

slutty She doesn’t have her hair done at all.

And it’s hardly a pornagraphic pose. It’s a well posed selfie in the bathroom.

You clearly have issues if you think that’s a sexual pose.

Loonoon · 17/06/2018 21:23

She looks amazing but unnatural and I think it is a very well done mix of genetics, working out, fake-tan, surgery and photo shop - all of which seems fair enough. Like recent coverage of KK proved, what you look like in a posed photo nowadays bears very little resemblance to what you look like in RL. It is as if looking nice on the the internet is more important than living.

I have said this before on MN and been shouted down for being patronising but I feel so sorry for young people these days - there is so much pressure on them to look good on social media all the time. I have a handful of photos of myself taken from 18-25 and with hindsight I look stunning in all of them despite no airbrushing or extensions or surgery or much makeup and despite my hating and hiding the photos at the time. I had very little self esteem back then and I am very grateful I didn’t have to expose every snapshot of myself to the relentless scrutiny young women and men have these days.

dickxydoraxx · 17/06/2018 21:24

She looks like a real woman.
Small waist, large hips.
100% natural woman.

LeGrandeDame · 17/06/2018 21:25

meh, they are just jealous, it means you look fab with your "huge arse" and tiny waist. i'd take it as a compliment and laugh about the thousands of women trying to look like you.

Surely we should be aiming for the idea that women can be attractive in any shape and form? The flat as an ironing board type and the wobbly Rubens woman have both been fashionable ideals at one time. How about we can have any size boobs and bums and be sexually attractive.

Voice0fReason · 17/06/2018 21:25

I really don't know or care whether what you see is real or fake, I do know that it's not a look that I aspire to.

I think lots of women would love to look like her,who would rather be overweight than look like that, ask your husbands which they would prefer
Why would you say that? Why do women need to be judged by men?
I like my own look and my own body - that is all that really matters (and so does my DH)

dickxydoraxx · 17/06/2018 21:26

OK, so she's a bit exagerrated.
But otherwise, I don't see the problem.
She's a real woman.
She has a small waist, large (child bearing hips) soft skin,
I don't ge the hate.

Lovely looking woman.

OfaFrenchmind2 · 17/06/2018 21:26

She looks great, I would like to look a bit like her. And she apparently has a great understanding of angles.

But I am surprised Mumsnet is letting this thread go on, since plenty of messages are really body shaming. Is it because it is sunday evening?

OkMaybeNot · 17/06/2018 21:27

She looks like a real woman.
Small waist, large hips.

Unlike all those freaky fake women with small hips and love handles. What laboratory did those abominations grow in Grin

lifechangesforever · 17/06/2018 21:27

Her boobs are possible fake but her bum will be the result of a lot of training - deadlifts, squats, leg presses, hip thrusts etc.

It is definitely possible to have a figure like that without plastic surgery! I have plenty of friends who have figures like that - they work bloody hard in the gym and they keep their eating on point, lots of meal prep involved. It's a time consuming process and requires a lot of dedication.

dickxydoraxx · 17/06/2018 21:30

I would be happy to know that my daughter is aspiring to be like her.
She's the epitome of feminiinity.
Child bearing hips.
Small waist
PMT
etc etc etc
All the attributes of a natural 100% bona fida WOMAN.
No amount of hormones is gonna give you that my love x

pennylulu · 17/06/2018 21:32

I would like to be slimmer (size 16 here and 5 ft 5 and have bingo wings, and am a bit fat!) but I would not to look like that. I would rather look like this pic of J-Lo. Slim and toned with modest (natural) boobs. The girl in the OP looks very fake. Not how I would wanna look, or what any girl should aspire to IMO.

I would be upset if my daughter wanted to look like that. I despair when I see the type of look that some girls aspire to these days (Towie/Geordie Shore/Love Island girl type look.... very fake.)
