How the hell is it possible to look like this woman??

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 19:52

OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

That doesn't look normal or real...

The photo is either Photoshop per or she has had some kind of surgery,..

Either liposuction, or fat transfer where they suck out the fat where you don't want it...e.g stomach and waste and then it's put back where you do want it for shape enhancement(e.g breast, bum, hips etc)...

ikeepaforkinmypurse · 17/06/2018 20:27

Zaphodsotherhead
you are aware you can exercise in your own home before or after the kids are in bed, instead of watching tv or being on MN?
There's a huge industry encouraging people to do just that - very lucrative too.

ElderflowerWaterIsDelish · 17/06/2018 20:28

*Photoshopped...not Photoshop per

HappilyHarridan · 17/06/2018 20:28

What's BBL?

RubyShooFan · 17/06/2018 20:28

OP no one looks like the girl in the photo, even the girl in the photo!

Go for it with the weights though, exercise is only ever going to make you feel and look better.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/06/2018 20:28

Why are people saying Well rather this than lazy and overweight? Confused

There are other choices, for example being fit and healthy and making the most of your appearance without spending hours in front of a mirror in your knickers taking pouting selfies for the world.

MissVanjie · 17/06/2018 20:29

“But comments like 'She is probably very shallow in real life.' And 'she looks deformed' are a bit hideous.”

That’s kind of what i was getting at in my post. I agree with you. We could all line up to slate her but what good would that do? Why must women be pitted against one another in this way? Why is it considered acceptable to make remarks like this about conventionally attractive women? For all anyone else knows she has the same hang ups and insecurities as the next person. Fair enough if that is not your preferred aesthetic (it’s not mine ftr) but what do nasty comments actually achieve, apart from perpetuating the myth that all women are jealous catty bitches locked in a bitter and unending rivalry?

Like they say in mean girls, calling someone ugly doesn’t make you any prettier.

Brendatheblender · 17/06/2018 20:29

This thread is vile.

SerenDippitty · 17/06/2018 20:29

Fine that people want to be fit and healthy but all this pouting and posing and showing yourself off on Instagram is just pure vanity really isn’t it?

whattodowheretogo · 17/06/2018 20:30

What an awful lot of bitchy judgemental comments on here.

Rachelweasel · 17/06/2018 20:31

She works out. A LOT. When you know how, you can achieve that body. If that's what she wants to do, leave her to it.

Bluntness100 · 17/06/2018 20:31

Some really horrid comments on here.

Nothing worse than women on women like this.😔

LittlePaintBox · 17/06/2018 20:31

"She is on Instagram daily and I'm sure it isn't surgery. She has two babies under 3 and has been super open and shown pictures all throughout her pregnancies. She works like a beast in the gym and is super super healthy. Her body shape isn't too everyone's taste but I believe it is her own work"

Super super healthy? To be honest, she doesn't look as if there's room for all her organs inside her body! Got to be surgery/photoshop. Where are her kids while she's working like a beast in the gym all day? It's her job to promote a lifestyle, what's she selling? How can you be sure it isn't surgery?

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 20:32

@HidingFromDD
Thats very kind of you, I'm guessing shes going to say squats! Ive noticed a massive (sorry Grin) difference in my arse since working out, but I'm naturally skinny - I can't imagine being able to achieve such exaggerated curves like the woman in the pic, which is why i was asking if its possible. I actually think I may need to up my food intake, I never really feel like i want to eat much but I think I'm not eating enough (especially protein) to see maximum results (if anyone has good links to proper healthy eating female gurus, im interested).

I agree some of these comments are in bad taste. I'd love to look like her personally.

Tunnocks34 · 17/06/2018 20:32

Not really sure. I like her body. I follow her on Instagram and she does seem to be really fit. It could be a mix of body type/healthy eating. Her career is health and fitness so she puts a lot of effort into working out and showing it off.

I have a size 10/12 bum. A size 6 waist. Naturally my boobs are an A club but I have recently had implants so that they are now a C. I don’t think I have the motivation, or natural body shape to look like her though.

SwedishEdith · 17/06/2018 20:33

I think lots of women would love to look like her,who would rather be overweight than look like that, ask your husbands which they would prefer

Why do people always resort to extremes like this?

I've no idea who this person is but it does seem quite odd to be so fixated on your body and to post pictures of it on social media looking for affirmation. That doesn't seem healthy. And, no, I don't aspire to look like that.

PlatypusPie · 17/06/2018 20:33

Photo angles make a huge amount of difference ( though I could plait myself and still not look like that)

MissVanjie · 17/06/2018 20:33

Lord thank god the sanity express has finally pulled in

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 20:33

@RubyShooFan

Where are her kids while she's working like a beast in the gym all day

The poster didn't say she worked in the gym ALL day. And the kids have a father, women don't need to be with their kids all the time. Get a grip.

Tisfortired · 17/06/2018 20:34

I've followed her for a while - she has 2 kids! She admitted she got her boobs done after her second child last year.

She trains like MAD though. She swears her bum is real...

Nicknacky · 17/06/2018 20:35

Alicatz “Massive self absorbed prick”. And you can tell that from one photo?

Honestly I’m despairing with mn lately. How dare people make such rude, judgemental comments about a woman they don’t know who has the audacity to enjoy fitness and not look like the majority of posters this thread.

No one would dare make such terrible comments if it was a photo of an over weight person that had been posted.

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 20:35

By the way (now veering slightly off topic) if anyone follows any "inspirational" workout and healthy eating women who are interesting please let me know!

SwedishEdith · 17/06/2018 20:35

I'd rather my daughter to aspire to look fit than aspire to be a Kate Middleton or other WAG or a wannabe X-factor winner. you can have a successful career AND be super fit, most driven people tend to do both.

Again, extremes.

BellaJessica · 17/06/2018 20:36

Whatever these people are selling it works. Im late 20s. I know fine well its not real. Shes a normal albiet very healthy gym bunny who has a blog? Well its worked and others like her work on me because part of my brain says what if you can look like that? And i look up surgery and extreme workouts on youtube knowing my skinny arse wont look like that. She is attractive for sure. She just doesnt look real.
