How the hell is it possible to look like this woman??

OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

I think she's a super toned pear-shaped woman with breast implants who knows how to stand at the right angle to accentuate the bits she wants to.

SerenDippitty · 17/06/2018 20:20

Her arms look quite big in relation to her waist.

As someone who is overweight, I can categorically say I'd rather look like her Grin

Notevilstepmother · 17/06/2018 20:21

Her waist is photo shopped.

Good grief!

EdWinchester · 17/06/2018 20:22

She's lovely and slim and then has that enormous arse.

I know this is the look young folk seem to like - but I think it's horrid.

BellaJessica · 17/06/2018 20:22

It is true we are becoming so detatched from reality. Teeth that are too white so now natural teeth look yellow and dirty. Eyelashes so long with extentions eyes look naked without. Huge eyebrows that take center stage. Huge pouts. The filler pout is bad now as a famous dr based in newcastle has said (and my own experience) girls in their teens and early twenties are coming in asking for doubl the ammount of filler then when they get used to their new big lips they then feel they are too small and get them bigger again. Botox is now very prevelant that no one has a mobile face where i live. And body shapes are a lot like this womans nd not due to gym. Look at cosmetic surgeries offered and beauty parlours offering fat loss wraps and toning muscle building machines.

Bluntness100 · 17/06/2018 20:22

I think it's the angle of the picture. If you google her, Tammy hembrow, her body is more natural looking and she's clearly very fit and works out a lot.

Skydiving · 17/06/2018 20:22

I think it’s an odd shape that she has.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 20:23

@HidingFromDD
I didnt start the thread for it to get mean, I've started working out with weights and want to know if this physique is genuinely achievable or if its some engineered ideal that isnt possible without surgery and photoshop.

It is quite telling that so many people prefer to convince themselves that you need plastic surgery and photoshop to get such a body, to make themselves feel better about being lazy about themselves.

I have a couple of friends with the same body shape, tiny tiny waist, very toned butt and toned overall. Just hard and regular specific work on their part, nothing plastic. One of them has 3 kids, the other 2, both killer abs. I think they are inspiring, they show you what you can do if you bother.

ikeep this is not a picture I want my 18 year old daughter to aspire to.

She looks like a character from who framed roger rabbit! I'm all for slim and toned and do not subscribe to fat is beautiful or curves are fabulous and sexy. They're not, that's just being fat, end of.

But I DO NOT want my daughter to thing altered images of a ridiculously posed picture is either normal or acceptable. Fortunately I've raised my daughter well to realise none of this is good. She's at the low end of the bmi, she works out (not recently due to exam pressure) and is very conscious of a balanced vegetarian diet.

Butt & breast implants.

Camera angle & photoshop...obviously.

I actually don't find her figure attractive, as it's not natural looking.

sheldonesque · 17/06/2018 20:25

If I were taking selfies, I'd be covered by a sleeping bag or a kaftan.

Or a combination of both.

Zaphodsotherhead · 17/06/2018 20:25

I don't think it's 'bothering', ikeepafork - it's more having someone to look after the kids for all the hours that you're in the gym!

StarbucksSmarterSister · 17/06/2018 20:25

It's not just her bum, her thighs look massive in comparison to her waist. I'd say Photoshop.

Grandmaswagsbag · 17/06/2018 20:25

Jesus she’s had 2 kids?! Some people do have naturally tiny waists and very wide hips and big bums. If you look at picture of her face on she doesn't have particularly wide hips, so I’d guess it’s some clever posing and angles or a little enhancement in the bum area. Slightly suspicious that the picture of her at 7 months pregnant seems to show a slightly smaller arse than the post birth picture though, how does that happen ? There’s a great insta I follow where the poster shows how different a different pose can make a body look, it’s quite an eye opener.

FiestaThenSiesta · 17/06/2018 20:26

“if you look at some of the videos on her Instagram then you can see it's not all photoshop.”

You realise you can manipulate video too, don’t you Confused. Or you really think thatsmall brown bear who speaks impeccable English is real too, because no way could he be photoshopped, cause it’s a video.

ikeep this is not a picture I want my 18 year old daughter to aspire to.

I'd rather my daughter to aspire to look fit than aspire to be a Kate Middleton or other WAG or a wannabe X-factor winner. you can have a successful career AND be super fit, most driven people tend to do both.

SoftBallSophie · 17/06/2018 20:26

Yep....as PP said, bizarre cartoon character

HidingFromDD · 17/06/2018 20:27

@Tangled59, actually wasn't aimed so much at you as some of the other posters with their 'must be bum implants' etc. Agree that there's a very limited amount you can do with boobs (although I've been doing bodypump classes and that's definitely made mine 'perkier' and I'm 54), but it is possible to get that bum if you target the exercises. If you're interested I can ask her what she does specifically to work on that area, although will take a week as she's not back from uni until then.

She is blessed with a genetic makeup which means she burns calories easily though, sadly not shared by me or her elder sister (who both gain weight if we look at a chocolate)
