How the hell is it possible to look like this woman??

OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

I am angry because of the ridiculous fawning over this woman and the extreme denial of her having plastic surgery and how young women aspire to this awful fake look.

I think people have mentioned she had breast implants.

But you can achieve a similar body without official surgery if you're willing to spend time on it. I could never have the willpower but well researched workouts, effort and possibly waist trainers and you could get a similar figure. Particularly if you're already got an hourglass shape.

It's not "fawning" to say that she looks gorgeous and has put work in.

I HATE that fake look and think people are deluded who think she is all natural.

You don't come across as thinking the look is unattractive. You come across as hating the woman. Which is probably why you're being perceived as bitter/angry.

It's bordering on impossible to be born with that figure. But you can get something very alike without surgery like I said.

FuckPants · 18/06/2018 10:22

Hahahaha.

rosesandflowers1 · 18/06/2018 10:22

Will they be handing out OBEs next for work done to own body, rosesandflowers?

Hmm

I doubt it.

All I said was that evidently a lot of hard work has gone into that figure. I find it difficult to commit to organised exercise once a week so think it's great when people are so into it.

FriendlyOcelot · 18/06/2018 10:29

Ok. That’s great. I think we have a slightly different idea of what admirable hard work is about. Personally I think that in order to maintain the level of work required to fulfill a largely unattainable body ideal requires quite a heavy dose of vanity and narcissism; neither of which I consider admirable traits.

GladAllOver · 18/06/2018 10:34

Whether that shape is due to Photoshop, surgery, or just extreme exercise, who in their right mind would want to have a body looking like that?
It's just revolting, and very sad.

Oh.

Well I can see where you're coming from. I don't necessarily think it's vain to have body aspirations. I think it's admirable to actually commit to working towards them, particularly when they're hard to attain.

She's going to be pretty healthy too, possibly make some money out of this, and maybe it makes her feel happy and accomplished and reminds her of the strength of her own willpower. Or maybe she just likes her body like this.

Either way, my somewhat lazy self can appreciate that.

Timeisslippingaway · 18/06/2018 10:47

If people feel the need to spend all their time working out to look like this, good for them, if it makes them happy. What I don't understand is why do they feel the need to plaster it all over social media? That makes me think, Hmm who ar e you actually doing this for.

FriendlyOcelot · 18/06/2018 10:47

Grin I just thing there’s a compromise roses! I’m really into healthy eating and exercise because it makes me feel happy and healthy. But I do it because I believe that it’s a good way to live and it makes me happy. Personally I think that a fit body really should just be the by product of a healthy lifestyle, not the sole aim. When it becomes all you fixate upon then I think it verges on vanity and I don’t think that’s a healthy lifestyle or way of thinking that I would like my daughters to aspire to. I’d hope that they might focus on other admirable tasks like, I dunno, charity work, being lively to their friends, gaining a degree. This woman way do all of that in her private life, but the lifestyle she chooses to promote doesn’t seem to feature anything other than self-body worship!

FriendlyOcelot · 18/06/2018 10:48

*Lovely and may. Auto fail Hmm

Dontforgetyourtowel · 18/06/2018 11:11

It's not ok to fat shame but it is ok to say horrible things about a woman for looking good/fit? It might not be to your taste but some of the comments on here... What the he'll.

Dontforgetyourtowel · 18/06/2018 11:12

*hell obviously, not he'll, my phone is far too polite

3luckystars · 18/06/2018 11:12

Wow she looks great to me anyway. I really need to start exercising but really even if I devoted my life to it, I could never look like that. Well done to her for working so hard but I couldn’t do it.

I think it’s a mixture of very hard work, a strict diet, some surgery and a good photographer.

This thread has been a great read, I am definitely definitely going to start doing some exercises today. Definitely.

junedaze · 18/06/2018 11:29

All i can say is, i'd hate my daughters to put so much emphasis on how they look and trying to achieve the perfect body. It all seems so shallow, fake and time consuming. Tbh this girl seems obsessed, why the need to keep showing off. Hmm

Storm4star · 18/06/2018 11:32

I must be getting old because she doesn't look great to me. Completely out of proportion and more like a barbie doll. Is this the "standard" young women are aiming for now? Sad times.

Basta · 18/06/2018 11:35

She is objectively prettier than me, but I wouldn't want to look like that and, more to the point, I wouldn't want a life that is all about posting pictures of myself on Instagram.

MissVanjie · 18/06/2018 12:21

ahh @TeaAddict thank you.

Have a wonderful day full of self love and freedom from needing to hate on other women sis Glitterball

SerenDippitty · 18/06/2018 13:05

I exercise, kettlebells and cross trainer but I'm not obsessed with getting a "dream body.". In my youth it was all about having a good figure, looking good in clothes just as important if not more so than out of them. Obsessing about having a perfect body is not healthy, It's vain and narcissistic.

dogzdinner · 18/06/2018 13:44

For those asking why she posts pictures on herself - I am guessing this is how she makes money?

If you get lots of followers you'll get paid to promote products/services. You might have your own business to promote - lots of the fitness types have sites that you can subscribe to , to get training tips, videos etc.

rosesandflowers1 · 18/06/2018 14:00

^^ I think she does make money off of social media. In that way it's kind of a business venture too.

rosesandflowers1 · 18/06/2018 14:02

more like a barbie doll.

I just remember Barbie dolls being very tall and slim. They had breasts but smaller ones.

Do you say so because she's blonde? Or is it a remark about her getting surgery?

Honestly DD2 has made a role model out of Barbie and Chelsea and I think its great. That's not body wise though.

ChutneyNose · 18/06/2018 14:37

Male opinion here, she’s has an extremely attractive body. I’m a personal trainer and train a girl like this, she’s a fitness model and has an absolutely incredible body, fake breasts but the rest is all down to genetics, diet and training. I think she looks great.

Gretol · 18/06/2018 14:39

It's impossible to exercise your way to massive breasts. I think she looks extremely unattractive and I can't help thinking how dull her conversation must be.

Gretol · 18/06/2018 14:40

I love the way you say "fake breasts but the rest is all down to genetics" Grin

Nicknacky · 18/06/2018 14:41

How fucking shallow to say she would have nothing interesting to say because you don’t like the way she looks.

Honestly it’s thread is eye opening about the way women speak about other women. It’s disgusting to judge someone based on one photo.

Gretol · 18/06/2018 14:43

I know plenty of super fit women. Triathletes, high level tennis players, athletes. They work hard and don't look like this (luckily for them). But they are doing it for themselves and their health, not to look like a sex object.
