OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

But she doesn't look nice , she looks very cheap despite the procedures undergone which undoubtedly costed a mint.
She was probably a very beautiful woman in her natural state but has degraded her looks due to the vulgar images bestowed upon people like her by lower-end celebrity culture.
The look she exemplfies is the one that naice boys will never bring home to meet Parentials.

I don't have any desire to 'shame' anybody, overweight or slim or very very fit and trained.

What bothers me about that picture is that that look (however exactly it was attained) is held up to be desirable, particularly after pregnancy and child birth. Good for her if getting in to that amazing shape is her priority, but it will make a whole load of post-natal women feel like shit.
It is not realistic (and in my very personal opinion, in that particularly picture her body looks weird and unnatural, but that may well be just me).

I hate the whole selfie culture and the whole 'look at me, look at me', particularly if it goes hand in hand with 'don't judge me'.

Don't get me wrong, other posters have said a lot worst, but there's a world of difference in saying you'd rather look like xxx (insert someone else name) and slagging someone off and treated her of all names under the sun.

Well her boobs are, and if you’re willing to have surgery on them you’re probably willing to alter other parts of your body. There seems to be a weird thing now where it’s ok to admit to a boob job but people still have to pretend their ridiculous bum growth is entirely natural (I’m thinking the Kardashians here). Why? I don’t agree with slagging off someone’s body and saying it’s horrid, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with women questioning all the images we are shown of ‘ideal’ or ‘fashionable’ bodies attained through hard work when actually they are surgically enhanced. I’ve no problem with people surgically enhancing themselves, their choice, but you shouldn’t then be holding that up as achievable for others without surgery, which is what a lot of these instagram people are making a business of.

They may be toned, but they are out of proportion to the rest of her body and she looks ridiculous.

To answer the OP, I think it is a case of natural body shape, breast implants and photo angles. Just pulling your pants up to the sides instead of horizontal makes a massive difference alone.

Her boobs are fake but I'm not sure about anything else, it is possible to get a bum like that without surgery, it just takes effort and hard work.

Different social strata have different ideas of beauty.

The angle she is at makes her waist look slimmer. Mix of a lot of waist-focused toning/excersice and squats. Possible also some actual waist-training.

i dont get why its ok to admit boob jobs but not when youve had your bum done it isnt ok to admit. i think maybe because boob jobs have beeb popular for much longer so its seen as the norm for some people whereas bum is not. maybe in the future people will be more honest about it. chloe khan has had her bum done recently and i like that shes honest about it! doesnt pretend its grown overnight.

I suspect photoshop and surgery as well as severe 'lack of' eating. In every day clothes she'd look ridiculously out of proportion, worse than in that picture

But say this is completely achieved through training and diet alone. It’s imposisble to grow muscle (so to grow your bum muscle outward like this) without eating a surplus of calories. It’s also very hard to eat a surplus of calories and have such a a tiny flat stomach. If this is achieved naturally I’m guessing you’d have to bulk up a little to put on the bum muscle and then fast for a few days to achieve the exceptionally toned waist, like a body builder would do, then pose for the pictures. Unless she’s in a constant cycle of bulking her bum muscle/starving I would bet good money that she doesn’t go round looking like this all the time as her feed suggests. Not saying she doesn’t have a greatly toned figure, but it probably won’t be to this extreme.

When I was younger, it was all about how big your boobs were, now it's about the arse. My DP loves a big arse, but not flabby iyswim. Big bums are v popular in rap/hip-hop music scene too.

As the mother of teenagers I've had to watch quite a bit of Love Island recently. I believe the girls on there exemplify current ideals of feminine beauty, IMHO, albeit one or two appear to have breast and lip augmentations.

But none of them has a weird ginormous arse, they are all relatively in proportion.

I mean I want a body that is along these lines and im working out but im confused as to whether i need to eat more to get a big butt or eat less to get a flat tummy!

There are workouts specifically made to get a bigger bum.

For a waist to hip ratio like hers you'd probably need a waist trainer. But from what I've heard they can be dangerous so choose carefully if you're going to do that.
