How the hell is it possible to look like this woman??

Tangled59 · 17/06/2018 19:52

OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

dick- Confused
I'm completely confused. I responded to a question up thread. Personally I like the look she has. I also like the look of other women from fat to thin and everything in between
I think every woman should have body confidence and celebrate health, diversity and feeling good about themselves

I'm not sure why you jumped on that given I was responding to someone who asked a question about plus size models, I never said celebrate obese (p.s I'm not obese) or mock slim and it's offensive you would say that when I didn't post anything about it!

BellaJessica · 17/06/2018 22:44

Ollivander you look amazing!

OkMaybeNot · 17/06/2018 22:45

Ollivander I wouldn't worry, dick seems to be reading imaginary replies she can then argue with Confused

StarUtopia · 17/06/2018 22:45

The boobs aren't real, but you can definitely be that skinny and have a bum that big! I always did.

Sadly it's all just big now haha.

Ollivander84 · 17/06/2018 22:47

Ok Grin I was concerned I was reading a different thread!
It's whatever look you like isn't it? It's good we don't all like the same thing but I try very very hard to not be nasty or comment on anyone else's body

TheEmmaDilemma · 17/06/2018 22:49

Unless her genetics are fabulous I suspect the boobs are fake. Could be arse implants but not necessarily. As for the low body fat, that's work, diet, somewhat starvation and possibly assisted by supplements.

It is achievable for the main part, but takes utter dedication.

Fibbertigibbet · 17/06/2018 22:50

I'm with you StarUtopia. I currently have a size 18 bottom and a size 10 waist. I have never had less than an 18 inch difference between my waist and hips. There are lots of different body types, but then viewing another person's body type (plastic surgery or not) as ideal when it is definitely not like your own is also not healthy.

TheEmmaDilemma · 17/06/2018 22:51

Body Rock for inspiration.

Dionysa · 17/06/2018 22:51
  1. It isn't possible to look like that in RL.
  1. Even if it were, I wouldn't want to. OP, I bet you look real and lovely.
allthegoodusernameshavegone · 17/06/2018 22:53

She looks great, but I look better

PerfectlyDone · 17/06/2018 22:54

Fibbertigibbet and StarUtopia, how many pictures of yourselves do you have on Instagram? With nothing much on?

I'm all for celebrating the different shapes and sizes that women's bodies come in, but the photo featured in the OP does not show an unaltered body.

I am an hourglass too but even at my youngest and fittest, I did not look anywhere near as odd as that.

TuTru · 17/06/2018 22:56

Cosmetic procedures

SilentBob · 17/06/2018 22:57

I am slowly getting into body positivity. I am 41 and happy with my shape, size, wobbly bits and all. I am lazy and therefore not into the whole gym regime that others may be.

I am not one for putting others down.

My daughter has a teeny waist and big bum. No photoshop, no ribs removed, no genetics from me, just the way she is made. She does go to the gym every morning but that has merely toned her up, not changed her shape regarding the waist to bum ratio. Some people are built like this, others choose to modify it to make it so. Nothing to do with me, I say.

FrangipaniBlue · 17/06/2018 23:01

By the way (now veering slightly off topic) if anyone follows any "inspirational" workout and healthy eating women who are interesting please let me know!

Gemma Atkinson @Tangled59 !! (And JLo)

Woman crush Grin

RJnomore1 · 17/06/2018 23:01

She doesn't look like a body builder

Ollivanders friend does though

That's a body shape I love. I don't have the willpower to get the body fat low enough though!

Ollivander84 · 17/06/2018 23:02

RJ she's amazing. I never get when people say "oh too much muscle"
It might not be a look I personally want but I can respect every inch of work that went into it!

Sallystyle · 17/06/2018 23:03

It isn't my ideal body type. I do think in some photos she looks a strange shape but looking through her Instagram it appears that some photos are just angled funny.

I wouldn't inspire to her body but she is certainly fitter and healthier than I am so I wouldn't mind if I woke up with her body one day.

RJnomore1 · 17/06/2018 23:04

Try jamie Eason frangipani

Sallystyle · 17/06/2018 23:04

Gemma Atkinson

Now her body is amazing!

Fibbertigibbet · 17/06/2018 23:17

PerfectlyDone I don't have any, it's not my thing, but I did used to have the measurements 34-21-39 (not my measurements now, and I obviously can't say if this woman has definitely had photoshop, I am just saying that some people have unusual measurements).

BellaJessica · 17/06/2018 23:18

After doing one minute of planking my hats off to these women. My stomach has a muscle cramp thats vibrating now haha they must be knackered.

Fibbertigibbet · 17/06/2018 23:18

For the record, I have been able to balance a pint on my backside (once).

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/06/2018 23:20

In an ideal world It would be good if the whole online diet and fitness was regulated like it is in RL.
Maybe this woman has qualifications in fitness/health whatever but if you had to qualify for some sort of license before setting up a business like this online and flogging merchandise, giving advice etc it would be safer with less irresponsible advice.

It'd also be good if health fitness instagrammers using their image to promote their livelihood had to declare not only surgical enhancements but every photo that was digitally enhanced or altered would have to be marked by a symbol.

I've no idea how all that would be monitored but it's a worry that impressionable young women are mis-sold an exercise video or a "lifestyle" based on a surgically altered or photo enhanced picture.

wakemeupbefore · 17/06/2018 23:20

Ghastly, ghastly liposuctioned, lifted, butt-transplanted, lip-filled, breast-transplanted creature. If it makes her happy, all's well - as long as young girls won't aspire to such fake, cheap looks. Sad

FrangipaniBlue · 17/06/2018 23:21

FWIW having just looked on her Instagram I don't believe for one minute she hasn't had anything done to her bum.

To have such low body fat as to be able to able to see the definition of her other muscles you'd be able to see the definition of her glutes too if that was all gym work (like the girl in this picture)

But you can't, so my money is on implants for fat inserted.

I've no issues with Instagram models but I do with the ones who are not truthful!
