That tend to be near the armholes.

Am I meant to cut them off, or just hope they stay tucked inside my cardi or dress?

I am sure adults are meant to know this sort of thing already so Iabu not to know.

Cut them out. They are annoying but can be dealt with.

I cut mine out. I cut off the threads that keep pockets closed and the ones on the split at the back of straight skirts. BUT I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with the little metal manufacturer’s logo that sometimes is sewn on the outside of garments? Little tag or button? I cut them off but they are very firmly attached. Any views?

i have one top which slips, so I wind the loops round my bra straps and voila...anchored.
Otherwise they are a pain in the bum.

Sometimes I use them to keep the top in place as well, by tucking them into my bra strap. Not often, but I like wide and low necklines, so they're quite useful for ensuring the tops don't slip off my shoulder.
