I know FIFA and Russia and whoever is involved is horrible in some way... But it's the actual World Cup. Mexico v South Korea suddenly becomes hugely important to my life! England have a likeable squad and manager. Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. Spain sacking their manager yesterday.

That ref was shocking. Couldn’t make up his mind for toffee, took ages over everything as well. Like running through mud.

Portugal would have been knocked out if they had lost that game. Iran would have topped the group on 6, then Spain 5 and Portugal 4

For a while I thought the Russians were trying to use var rigging either to play Iran or Portugal minus Ronaldo!
