To be excited about the World Cup starting!

I know FIFA and Russia and whoever is involved is horrible in some way... But it's the actual World Cup. Mexico v South Korea suddenly becomes hugely important to my life! England have a likeable squad and manager. Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. Spain sacking their manager yesterday.

I fully expected them to win all the way through. That is what the Germans do...

Oh well.

This is the first tournament I have ever watched & not been able to pick out serious contenders, pretty shite so far & deeply disappointed in Argentina. Also not the same without Italy

The German are also pretty easy on the eye.

DS however is certain Portugal will win it, he does hero worship Ronaldo though so may be slightly biased...
