Not sure if this is my maternal 'need to protect' instinct kicking in. Had morning sickness for a few weeks in the beginning. Almost gone completely now. Had a lovely lazy weekend but haven't felt right since yesterday.

Feeling very sick, but not like morning sickness, nor like a bug. Just very nauseous. I also have a headache (I'm well hydrated and don't get headaches - ever!). Feeling quite dizzy, and just want to sit and do nothing. I don't know why but I just have this strong gut instinct that something isn't right.

AIBU to feel like this? AIB silly to want to get checked out with my gp? I rarely go to the docs but just feel... weird!

If you don't feel better OP, make sure you go back or seek further advice.

Thanks everyone. There are so many pregnancy symptoms and illnesses associated that I had no idea about! I feel like I've been a bit naive about pregnancy and what it would entail. I can't wait to meet little one. He/she is kicking me today quite a lot, so that's reassuring. Thanks again everyone for keeping me company today Thanks

Any update OP? Thinking of you.

Random, but about the pee in a pot - they gave me a cardboard whatsit to pee in with a pouring spout! Amazing!

I pee in a cheap plastic jug and then pour into the tiny cup. Rinse the jug out then put back in bathroom cupboard.

@CMH123 Sorry for the late reply. Been in pain on and off all week and have no idea whether to be seen again. Wish I went to my GP but I hate being off work. Have my 20 week scan on Monday so might take the afternoon off too and see if I can get a same day appt with my gp. I've been having a think and really believe this should have been followed up properly. If I wasn't pregnant and they found a potential problem with my gallbladder, or was in pain enough to require a hospital visit, wouldn't it be the norm to investigate a bit further? Even just an ultrasound of my gallbladder? Maybe I'm expecting too much but I don't think I necessarily was looked after too well...

My gallbladder issues were made worse by pregnancy, apparently its not uncommon? Hope you feel better soon x
