Am I imagining it or are very simple innocuous threads descending into bunfights more frequently.

I cordially invite everyone to ready their flinging buns here instead. Needed are:

• Someone to police the fight (whilst stirring it up a bit);
• Grammar police to insure everybodies writing proper (your welcome);
• Someone to ignore the basic points and totally misinterpret the thread;
• About 50 posters to find increasingly patronising ways of saying RTFT;
• Someone to be utterly horrified;
• Punctuation lessons from those in-the-know;;;;;;;;

-Liberal use of these two: ;

• and a passive aggressive "Wow, just wow" on page 3.

I can't believe this thread, not all buns are like that.

I haven't RTFT obviously, but I can't believe that we are nearly 600 messages in and not one single poster has considered the ethics of food waste. All of you throwing buns willy-nilly when there are people in the world who have no buns at all. I don't actually do anything practical in rl to address unequal bun distribution, but this is an unmissable opportunity to imply that I am morally superior to all of you by raising the issue.

Well it’s not ideal to throw buns OP and obviously I personally wouldn’t throw buns because I’m a better person than you and clearly love my buns more but only you can decide what’s right for your baked goods

Is Bun the only name you and your DH both agree on. It sounds more like a nn, can’t see a high court judge being called Bun.
How about Bunjamin with Bun as a nn?
Also people will pronounce it in different ways “bun” or “buuun”.

Terfsup you could always change the spelling to Büüünnn? It sounds much softer than boring old Bun and there's bound to be a dozen Buns in the class. That way everyone is happy
