Am I imagining it or are very simple innocuous threads descending into bunfights more frequently.

I cordially invite everyone to ready their flinging buns here instead. Needed are:

  • Someone to police the fight (whilst stirring it up a bit);
  • Grammar police to insure everybodies writing proper (your welcome);
  • Someone to ignore the basic points and totally misinterpret the thread;
  • About 50 posters to find increasingly patronising ways of saying RTFT;
  • Someone to be utterly horrified;
  • Punctuation lessons from those in-the-know;;;;;;;;
-Liberal use of these two: Hmm Confused;
  • and a passive aggressive "Wow, just wow" on page 3.

Dsis and i baked buns with the dc, df and dm. Then dfil, dmil and dsil came round, so we split one bun between us.

Then df (riend), df (iance)and dbil (dsis’ dh) walked with the kids and ddog down to see dpony, so feed the rest of the buns to dpony and the dhorses. Dcat was there already chasing the dchickens. The dchickens enjoyed a bun too.

Then we all went home for a shakespeare recital by dd(3). She can only read in english, disappointingly. We need to increase her mandarin lessons.

I for one am completely gobsmaked at your post. Why post in AIBU if you are not willing to accept that you may in fact be unreasonable? The vast majority of Mumsnetters are genuinely lovely, caring, nurturing individuals who are only trying to assist you with your issues (which in this case seem many). Given your attitude I think all you can do is try to salvage as many of your buns as possible whilst doing a tinkly laugh and a head tilt. You are also slightly racist to buns.
