Justanotherlurker, how does the fact that he received death threats from across the political spectrum (including Muslims) prove that all Muslims are the same? He was clearly quite different from the idea of Muslims that daddy is portraying. That was my point.

daddy the quran is free online, but so is the Bible. Which also makes pretty depressing reading for women if you approach it from a fundamentalist angle. Fortunately not all Christians do. Any more than all Muslims read the quran in the same way.

If you are going to use your own reading to decide what all Muslims are like, then you'd better read the Old Testament in the same way to find out what Westerners are like.

Or alternatively, you could get to know some real people, and then you might find out that there are fundamentalist Christians and liberal Christians, there are fundamentalist Muslims and liberal Muslims and even feminist Muslims. All sorts of different people.
