So I am fat. I like food too much to lose weight and after spending years of my life worrying about my waistline, I've had enough.

I want to look good this summer and see fabulous fat women all the time ... what is the secret to looking fat and fabulous?! Aibu to think that you can still look brilliant at 18 stone?! I just want fashion tips please, not judgement or weight loss advice! Thanks

I'm the heaviest I've ever been and I'm also the happiest. Some people don't like the way bigger people look (who cares) and other people love it. What's important is that youre happy in yourself. Life is for living now, not in some distant slimmer future.

I feel good, need to lose weight of course, I never want to be skinny, just fitter and healthier.

I have a quirky style and wear what I like.

I have been told I carry my weight well which is debatable but I'm more comfortable in my own skin than ever.

Wonder how the judgey posters would feel if they had difficult body shapes. Here is my bottom half - ok so "skinny" was not quite accurate!, but they're not obese, I don't think.

But the top? Size 22. That's 4 whole dress sizes bigger than the bottom. Grrrr.

Good accessories
Expensive clothing materials I.e. no Lycra or crap

Do you have to phrase your point in such a personally insulting manner? You might not approve of the OP's weight, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't deserve to feel good about herself or that she has no right to enjoy her life.

I'm sure that you can look fabulous as a plus size woman but I find it impossible!! Everything looks odd on my size 18 frame and I cannot wait to lose weight.

Simplybe have some good styles but everything seems to be in synthetic fabrics, which make me sweat!

I'm never going to feel fabulous while my legs rub together when I walk!

UserV maybe you should grow the fuck up. Some people are overweight, get over it,are we just meant to be miserable? It’s hard enough being over weight and trying to lose weight without being told we’re vile, disgusting and apparently all stink.

I’m fat. I’m properly fat. I’m trying to change it but it isn’t going to happen overnight. It’s not to be celebrated due to health consequences but it takes time for it to come off, and given I can’t turn back time to prevent getting fat in the first place, it is what it is.

I have some lovely clothes and when I wear them and make the effort with my hair, makeup etc I look pretty damn good.
