I do sometimes, but I crouch - at beginning of shower with the shower on - so the wee goes straight into the plughole and is washed away at the same time

It's piss not a massive poo , some people are so over the top.

After my (3) Caesarians I was told it was easier to wee in the shower, rather than bending down and straightening up. I couldn't bend or straighten up anyway, so yes, I did it. And still do.

I always take my own pressure washer and full hazmat suit for the shower when I'm staying at a hotel or visiting friends. Anything less is just gross.

I can't fathom how you get splashback. You must be pissing like a horse or a power washer. It's impossible not to pee in the shower. It just happens. Doing it while lying in the bath is a bit grim though unless you have a quick shower after your bath. Which I suppose defeats the purpose. I'm overthinking this now .

Although urine is technically sterile, the thought of it is just gross IMHO.

No problem with peeing in a shower but those of you peeing in the garden or horse she'd - I'd absolutely end up peeing down my leg or on my jeans, 100%

The poster who said that wee isn't lumpy must have read the thread where the OP went into the bathroom and caught her partner using his foot to wiggle something "lumpy" down the plughole.

I don’t think blood is any more gross than urine. My shower doesn’t smell of blood either!

I do it too. I think it’s more hygienic than getting out all clean and immediately doing a piss.

I clean my bath religiously, every day. And I live in a really soft water area where limescale is not an issue. There is still sometimes a slight build-up of soap on the side of the bath, in a spot I've missed. You can't see it- you can only feel that the bath isn't 100% smooth. I am absolutely certain bits of wee would get stuck to that if I peed in the bath.

Wee just trickles down the leg, and down the drain. It doesn't gush, or splash, or spray, - and how would it attach itself to the wall of the bath? And even if it did, in a minute, dilute droplet, how badly would it smell? I suspect you are a gf, or a complete clean freak - who cleans the bath every day? Why? That is not normal. Being so afraid of a drop of urine is not normal.

Was potty training all in vain? I mean you're an adult for goodness sake. Urinate in the toilet, where you're supposed to. I think urinating in the shower is plain nasty. You know how to use a toilet properly so there's no excuse. What if it gets splashed on to flannels or sponges? Or, as others have said, ends up staying on the walls? Eugh!

Otherwise you get soap building up. You can tell if you get into a bath and it's not clean because it's gritty against your skin, which is completely horrible.
