To think urinating in the shower isn't a bad thing?

It all gets washed away anyway and you can clean yourself straight after Confused how come some people see this on a par apparently with dirtiness Kim+Aggie would faint at?

Respo, get back in your box.

HotChocChick · 28/05/2018 21:53

Shower yes, bath no!

RespoDad · 28/05/2018 21:54

🧛🏻‍♂️

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 28/05/2018 22:00

I can't see those emojis. Do I want to?

RespoDad · 28/05/2018 22:05

It was a vampire.

ItsNachoCheese · 28/05/2018 22:07

I pee in the shower if needed saves getting out and back in the shower lol. Dont pee in the bath but since having ds i cant hold my bladder as well in heat and i leak a bit when i stand up to get out the bath :(

AKAmyself · 29/05/2018 07:25

Surely urine is “cleaner and more environmentally friendly than the gallons of body wash, shampoo etc that people pour down their drains when they shower.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 29/05/2018 08:26

Phew, that's a relief!

GladAllOver · 29/05/2018 09:38

Had a pee in the shower this morning. Thought of Mnetters who disapprove while doing it. Brought a smile to my face :)

whatashower · 29/05/2018 11:21

My user name compels me to contribute, obvs.

I'm a non-shower-pisser myself, through lack of imagination and inclination rather than anything else.

My mild incredulity at the horror of urine has however given way to a genuine concern that some (note, the some) mumsnetters are clearly, passionately and completely, disinfecting/bleaching/sanitising their family through life, nuking flora and bacteria with impunity.

If a splash of wee causes such levels of consternation, how freaked out does garden soil make you?

How about a nice piece of cheese? (Hazmat suits required, presumably.......)

Does anyone worry that this approach to 'cleanliness' is having a serious impact on immune systems?

VanillaSugar · 29/05/2018 12:31

Antibiotics to the ready Grin

GeekyBlinders · 29/05/2018 18:33

I do it. By the time it hits the drains it’s basically homeopathic wee anyway.

TeasndToast · 29/05/2018 20:25

I don’t mind soil or cheese but I don’t piss in the shower.

I’m a clean freak and bleach, spray and antibac the fuck out my life and home.

Both kids are nearly at the end of their school year and so far, like last year have 100% attendence and no sickness. I rarely get ill. So no, not worried about building immunity either.

RespoDad · 29/05/2018 21:23

Has anyone else pissed on their chips?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 29/05/2018 21:26

😂

LEMtheoriginal · 29/05/2018 21:28

Respo I don't know about that but I've been told piss is really good for cold sores or jellyfish stings

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 29/05/2018 21:29

I'm giving it a miss for cold sores. 😷

SneakyGremlins · 29/05/2018 21:41

Actually it's a myth about jellyfish stings!

OP posts:
LEMtheoriginal · 29/05/2018 21:47

I suspect as much for the coldsores tbh!

SneakyGremlins · 29/05/2018 21:49

Probably Grin Jellyfish thing was on QI, not sure about cold sores!

AuntyElle · 29/05/2018 22:18

It’s not that great an experience when you’ve had asparagus for lunch.

DaisyArcher · 29/05/2018 22:33

I’m a clean freak and bleach, spray and antibac the fuck out my life and home

Why?
