It all gets washed away anyway and you can clean yourself straight after Confused how come some people see this on a par apparently with dirtiness Kim+Aggie would faint at?

I spray my shower after each use too...? Then rinse it. Usually Mr Muscle Shower Spray Smile

Luisa27 · 23/05/2018 17:27

Yes Duck...like Method too 👌

ElMarineroBaila · 23/05/2018 17:27

I don't do this but I feel like I've been converted.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 23/05/2018 17:29

It's no biggie is it Luisa Grin
Just keeps on top of keeping it clean.

ModreB · 23/05/2018 17:31

Sometimes, due to a medical thing I can't wee on the toilet, but I can in the shower. So, it washes away, it's organic and not lumpy. As far as I'm concerned it's fine.

Luisa27 · 23/05/2018 17:33

....it’s so easy, I thought everyone did it 😂

Luisa27 · 23/05/2018 17:34

Modre.....”lumpy”??? 😐

tobee · 23/05/2018 17:35

I bought some method the other day because someone recommended it on another thread as nice smelling.

It doesn't really do the job, though, as far as I can tell. Derail

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 23/05/2018 17:37

Method gets rid of the soap and stains on the glass but I give the shower a deep clean with Flash bleach once a week to get it really clean.

AsdaPooShaker · 23/05/2018 17:43

God some people are precious 🙄

Even if it goes for recycling, so what? Loads of stuff goes down the shower drain that’s worse than wee. Poo crumbs. Knob cheese and female bodily fluids. Sweat. Dead skin cells and grease from skin and hair. Body hair.

Get a grip.

LaurieFairyCake · 23/05/2018 17:45

Nah

SHITTING in the shower would be a problem

But wee? Nope

Moussemoose · 23/05/2018 17:50

Wee down the drain is evil but putting poison down the drain is ok?

ImNotMeImSomeoneElse · 23/05/2018 17:51

I said But you do realise that the stuff that comes out is the stuff that the body doesn't want to keep? As in the stuff that is being filtered out?

Someone else said Well...yeah, but presumably you wash yourself in the shower, not just stand there? So any pee that's on you will be washed off anyway?

I was replying to someone who said that people drank it, the implication that the pee was filtered. I think it's entirely relevant to point out that the pee is the stuff filtered out in response.

It really wasn't referring to peeing in the shower, so your comment isn't really relevant. But thanks Hmm

foxyliz26 · 23/05/2018 17:53

Who cares , if you pee in the shower or the swimming baths!
we all do it

What I really want to know if why we hide our clean knickers from our gynaecologists, .........he is going to see all we have got anyway ! ha ha

MorningsEleven · 23/05/2018 19:50

🤣 I got winked at my by gynae once! I was having a scan to see if I was actually finally pregnant and I couldn't look. There were 3 medics in the room and I was convinced it was bad news. I was looking anywhere but the screen and caught his eye. He winked and nodded at the screen so I looked over and there was my daughter.

Was a bit odd though, he'd seen my fanny a dozen times.

Yogafailure · 23/05/2018 19:53

This is something I've only ever heard of on Mumsnet. It's never crossed my mind to pee in the shower and I don't know anyone who does...or maybe they just don't admit to it?! Hmm

RoseWhiteTips · 23/05/2018 19:56

Wouldn’t cross my mind, either. Good grief.

emelsie · 23/05/2018 20:05

Do people realise this disgusting pee is always inside of your body anyway, always touching your insides, how shocking , I don't see why peeing into a toilet where it no doubt touches your external skin and then is smeared dry with toilet paper is any less disgusting. I don't see the big deal

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 23/05/2018 20:10

I don't believe anyone who says they don't do it Wink

emelsie · 23/05/2018 20:10

Also what about women who have very heavy periods or even just normal and don't/can't use tampons , are they not allowed to shower because their blood goes down the drain into this precious dirty shower water that must not be contaminated Confused

EggysMom · 23/05/2018 20:18

It's never occurred to me to pee in the shower, and I don't get the urge when in the shower or bath - mind you, I generally pee beforehand anyway.

robotcartrainhat · 23/05/2018 20:38

Once at a campsite in France I went to the shower actually doubled up as the toilet.... it was one of those squat toilets that are just a hole in the ground with two foot plates for your feet... then to use the shower there was just a lattice thing you put over the top of it, then the shower was just turned on above....
I actually preferred it to the other toilets on the campsite as at least that one was always completely clean as it was getting hosed down really often by the shower....
Europe eh!?

tinyme77 · 23/05/2018 20:40

It's better for the environment as you don't waste water flushing it away.

VioletCharlotte · 23/05/2018 20:40

I do! Glad I'm not the only one!

DitheringBlidiot · 23/05/2018 21:37

I pee in the shower. When we pee we wipe it off with a bit of tissue. If anything washing it off with soap and water is more hygienic
