Because that's not true. You can delete anyone's comments on your own feed.

@greygray I was being sarcastic.8 very much doubt MOD wants to be in the papers. I certainly wouldn't want to be and I think the post added by her friend brought her leaving Instagram very much to the attention of people. I don't follow MOD but do follow NSSM so only knew MOD had gone because of the post.

I'm not sure what's so confusing about my post.

The DM didn't publish my comments on the article.
I wonder if she who has deleted(for now)will remain friends with NSSN after the ridiculous post from yesterday.
So much damning evidence on there of the deleted one being vile.

I agree that NSSN has unfortunately made the whole situation a lot worse. Her post drew attention to the fact that the IG account had been removed, ended up with lots of comments which didn't do MOD any favours and lead to a lot of additional debate on MN. And then she removes the whole thing as if it never happened - some friend!

Yes @greygray She deleted the post.Assuming she had a call from her friend as originally she had said she would not be blocking and deleting.
However, when posters who had had a bad experience with the deleted one being the bully rather than being "bullied"(Me included) She suddenly removed commenting.
She must of been asked to take it down as the deleted one would of had no ability to delete the truths that were being written.

Or rather @greygray She turned off commenting.
Same thing really. But makes a mockery of her previously saying she would not be deleting any comments from the post or blocking any posters.

I've just seen that she deleted her comment too so now its just a pic of her. I'd imagine she's feeling some guilt today.

The whole mumsnet thing and IG stuff has made me delete Instagram altogether as it really is a big pile of virtue signalling, white MC, mean girl crapola and I can live without it.

NSSN wasn’t criticising MOD, she was trying to stick up for her, tell everyone to be nice and shut up and comparing MODs situation with being raped, bizarrely.

No she wasn't criticising MOD. She was suggesting that MOD had been bullied off Instagram and blah blah the same old boring rubbish. What she got in response was people detailing how they had been treated by MOD (obviously there were lots of people blaming mumsnet / haters / trolls) but ultimately it made me aware of things I hadn't seen because I don't follow MOD. And it creates more posts on the thread here and ended up with MOD in the papers. So all in all, a complete fuck up on NSSN's part.
