God this whole situation gets weirder and weirder! Why would you use that as a comparison! 🤨🤦🏼‍♀️

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:15

NSSN = notsosmugnow

CadyHeron · 23/05/2018 16:15

Oddish - she said people had said that "she puts herself out there, what does she expect? She deserves it." Which people HAVE said stuff like that on here.

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:17

Do you think the comparison was fair cady ?

finks100 · 23/05/2018 16:18

Sorry I might have confused you grey, the actual post was defending MOd although she managed to include a comparison to rape in the post. The problem came on the thread below were people could give clear examples of poor behaviour from MOD and her fan girls.
It appears #bekind is a one way street!

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 16:18

I miss mod already. The others like UGG and AB.Lucy are scuzzy. Look at them jump in her IG grave today 🤢

kirinm · 23/05/2018 16:19

Cady - rape, being raped or anything to do with rape is not a clever comparison when you're talking about an influencer getting some criticism or feeling abused (however rightly or wrongly that feeling is). Nor did NSSn comment on any of the bullying that MOD had allegedly been involved in. It was a stupid thoughtless post which to me, seemed more about NSSN than MOD. And it's caused a whole heap of shit for MOD that I'm sure nobody wanted.

finks100 · 23/05/2018 16:21

There is also a staggering silence around one instagrammer, who reads these post, threatening to cut anyone who is mean to another instagrammer, who also reads these posts!

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:21

Jumping in her IG grave Grin love it, seems to be the way some of them are going.

CadyHeron · 23/05/2018 16:25

Grinning at people's misfortune now? Wow, then we wonder why these MN threads get such a bad rep and accused of being nasty. Hmm

greygray · 23/05/2018 16:25

Yes I thought that comment of 'I'll cut anyone that goes after her' was in extremely poor taste when you consider the appalling knife crime currently plaguing London. She was very very silly to say that, even if it was in 'jest'

Atalune · 23/05/2018 16:26

Thanks oddish

greygray · 23/05/2018 16:26

Also I agree with @kirinm very silly thing to write in the circumstances...not very well thought out damage control!!

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:26

What are you on about cady

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:28

There has been a surge of activity from a few instamums over the last few days and for me to find that amusing isn’t ‘nasty’.

CadyHeron · 23/05/2018 16:28

What was that grinning face for then after "jumping in her grave, love it, Grin seems to be the way some of them are going now" about then?

kirinm · 23/05/2018 16:29

Whose misfortune @CadyHeron ? MOD most probably chose to leave Instagram herself so where's the misfortune? Nobody knows that anything is actually wrong with MOD professionally or personally. Maybe she just got fed up. There's nothing to feel sorry for MOD about.

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:30

I’ve just explained that cady . I enjoyed another poster’s observation and agree with it. Do you honestly need that spelled out Confused
Now, which instamums are you? Your heaven investment means I’d bet my firstborn on it.

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 16:31

Mod's real friends with a bit of class clemmie telford and DLAM have kept their mouths shut

TireSwing · 23/05/2018 16:31

I disagree @Oddish - I think it's just because he doesn't engage on the same level, whether it's to criticism of his FOD account, his wife or other influencers. He doesn't seem to get involved in any pile ons and things aren't done in his name in the way they are in MOD's.

I can't imagine SV doing a story threatening to cut anyone who was mean to FOD

CadyHeron · 23/05/2018 16:31

Cross post. If it's something big that's happened, I'd have thought it stood to reason that it might get mentioned by other Instas in the same genre.
Not really jumping in grave to mention it.

Oddish · 23/05/2018 16:35

Tire I do see all that but I do still think there is a whiff of misogyny about it all. I’m almost certain that if he had received heavy criticism either as comments on his posts or by dm it would’ve been addressed. But he doesn’t get as much criticism and maybe I’m just seeing things through rabid feminist spectacles but I do believe that as a man he is less open to criticism.

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 16:37

I think mod has been a bit of a prat. Got caught out on dm. If she was in a n office her manager would have a little word, she'd apologise to a couple of people in the meeting room and then crack on, low key.

EatMyShoes · 23/05/2018 16:38

I was hugely disappointed to see an IGer who apparently prides herself on being outspoken and honest didn't say how she stood on the cutting comment being made in her name. Especially when directly asked about it.

TireSwing · 23/05/2018 16:39

You might be right, @Oddish

But one thing I have noticed recently is that FOD is all over his comments and deletes things that aren't appropriate. We don't know what he's deleted and also have no way of knowing what sort of stuff he gets DMed
