I don't like MoD/FoD so I chose a long time ago to unfollow and block(that way they don't show up in promoted posts either) so they are never in what I see, but now, all the fans are doing stories saying how dare MN bully MoD off Instagram? like what!

If she hadn't of been trying to deceive people on there I don't think she would've felt she needed to leave, and so now its a case where i will have to unfollow all the silly blind followers of hers such a shame that people can't just leave her to fight her own battles.

The sad thing is she will most likely pop up again in a few weeks like others have done, just having a break but making a big come back to garner all the sympathy.

I've been a follower of CH for years, but this side of her that comes out when it's anything to do with mumsnet is awful.

I’ve spoken up on other threads with my usual insta account but there’s no way I’m diving in to this one. With speak of fucking STABBING people over this the only dissent will be silence. What an absolute shit show.

I watched a bit of TMWC but just put it off. It's so depressing. We got free stuff = good. Therefore be grateful. Who cares if people felt excluded or it appeared there was a clique.

I reported the comment to IG. I don't know if it's still there.

It is mind-glowingly bizarre that this has sprung up from someone saying anon that an event hosted by an instamum was a bit cliquey and the host was a bit standoffish.

That is the second stab "joke"/threat made now against MN users and CH, who has 200k followers eggs them on with a stupid West London Crew mate comment. I can't actually believe what I am reading.

I've reported it. So can no longer see if it's there or not.
If you are who you say you are Laura I expect it to be deleted and for you to say to your fangirls to act with a little less distaste.

I love (loved) CH - always read her blog, watch her YT videos, bought her Cult Beauty boxes. I will not touch anything she goes near with a barge pole in future. Her comment is appalling.

I've never heard of TMWC until these threads but she's done what she intended which is whip things up so she's a discussion point. In her recent story she's telling her followers that people on this thread are commenting on her voice, her swearing and that someone said "look at her..." implying people on MN have got personal where she didn't, she just called someone a "fucking liar" and she "stands by that". So that's ok then.

People have to be allowed to discuss matters and people in the public eye (particularly people who have chosen to be in the public eye) without being threatened with being stabbed.

There are elements of the discussion on this thread that I dont like or dont agree with but I would not try and shut it down (however well meaning the reasons behind it are) because of these wholly inappropriate comments on instagram. What kind of messsage does that send out

Yeah, I'm really struggling to understand how Laura/TMWC can say that her lengthy and aggressive tirade wasn't nasty? Of course it was nasty. Just because it comes from a good place in your mind (defending your friend, say) it doesn't mean that is isn't aggressive and intimidating and really, really unpleasant.

Also, I'm pretty sure "look at her!" was in no way a criticism of Laura's appearance, but actually shock at the swearing and rage that was going on.

Who the hell, does that? Way, way too far and OK, you can't control what others post but if you've got an open comments section and invite comment, you damn well should be reading (and deleting!) idiotic ones like that.

But kisbot, if you're afraid that MN will shut this thread down, why report it and hasten its deletion?

I've really liked these threads and thought they were very interesting with some great points made, but I think it should stop now. It's really horrible and just going back and forth. It's devaluing all the valid points that have been made. That's why I said it would be better to leave MOD alone now, but obviously no one agreed! If you keep on and on about someone when they've taken their profile down it does start to seem like bullying even though it definitely wasn't before.
