can't help wondering if telegraph article etc was strategy to scapegoat MN threads to deflect attention from Clemmie Hooper's argy bargy on instagram and accusations of bullying thrown at her there.
if so, good job, it's worked.
TMWC not impressed that there is criticism on here of parents featuring their kids on instagram but she seems to have not read guardian article. criticism is on there and given by proper professionals studying this shit.

TMWC no one has been nasty. No one has said ‘look at her’..? If you say it like you see it why is no one else allowed to have the same philosophy?

Someone making another knife "joke" under the TMWC post. Are stabbing "jokes" the latest thing? No wonder society is so fucked up when stab jokes are considered a normal response to a petty dispute on social media. These threads have been good in one regard - I will not let my children have access to SM for as long as I possibly can because if adults are saying that kind of stuff, what hope do we have for children?

That sort of comment (in the picture) would get you reported to the police on Twitter. It's not funny at all.

Good Lord! Presumably that violates Instagram policies (threats of violence). These people and their privilege - when SM is part of the rise of knife violence among adolescents, how nice to threaten someone as a grown woman in such a way!

She's had a grudge against MN since one of these threads called her out for bullying someone who left a negative comment on one of her channels. Any chance she gets to stick the boot in and she's there 🙄

I have to agree it's all getting a bit tit for tat, though nothing on these threads has come close to the stuff the grammers are posting. The best (and most infuriating) thing to do would be just to ignore them all and go back to not naming names.

I think these women think it’s ‘cool’ and youthful to use ‘stabbing’ as a threat, because they have heard young people use it. Like people who are far too old (in my opinion) saying ‘on fleek’ a few years ago. The difference, that this phrase actually relates to killing people, seems to have escaped them.

My post was from TMWC thread. The whole thing is so nasty. I can’t think how anyone would risk a different opinion on there.

It's horrific. CH has always been like that though. Haven't followed her in years and my life is much better for it. She's like a tanned Mitchell brother.
