Just came across this on another thread.

So many questions.

OP posts:

I've been in my house for over nine years and I'm struggling to remember if I've ever wiped down my door frames. Bleach them? I'm a bit lazy - granted, but isn't life too short?

Lmao.. It's me who does. Only a couple of times a year. Just a spray bleach and cloth. Simply because somehow they get grubby. Whether that's brushed up against when dp has his oily uniform on. Or the kids dirty hands.
I just tend to use bleach for everything don't know why.

Alwayssearching · 22/05/2018 19:38

Certainly not a weekly thing lmao

My exsil does "top and tail" every month. That means bleaching the door frames and window frames. Needless to say, she thinks I'm a slattern because I don't ..............

Sorry to avoid op but for those who clean with white vinegar - how does the smell not turn your stomach? I know it's effective but the house reeks of it forever more and it's not even a clean smell. Confused!

Bleach on wood? Mind boggled

I thought, how very weird, and then realized that last weekend I did exactly that. To kill mildew.
