That's a very harsh view. So if you haven't had a period of given birth you are not a woman?!
I know women who have chosen not to have children - since they haven't given birth do you think they are not women?
I have a friend with a condition that means she has never had a period and she cannot have children - she doesn't fit either so is she not a woman?
Am so sick of this fucking ridiculous straw man argument.
The reason that your friend doesn't have periods and cannot get pregnant is because she has a condition which means her female reproductive system does not work as it should. Not because she has a cock and balls and produces sperm.
Not having periods and not being able to get pregnant because your ovaries and uterus don't function as they should is a uniquely female experience. No trans woman has ever had that experience. Ever. Because if they had, they wouldn't be a trans woman they would be a woman.
Transwomen are not women. They are transwomen. They are men who have decided that they feel more comfortable living according to the conformities bestowed by society upon women rather than upon men.
Not. Women.
How is it so controversial to say this? How have we got here?
