I reckon that people generally have a short attention span. They're conditioned, to a degree, by movies where a 'situation' is resolved within two hours amid - usually - great fanfare.

Given where he's working, and its swampiness, Mr M's team are actually moving at breakneck speed.

So many things going down it's like watching Forrest Gump play ping pong. So fast you can't keep your eye on the ball.

I keep wondering what on God's green Earth Scrotus has on Cohen and Manafort that's keeping them from flipping on him. Both of them are facing decades in prison and yet they don't appear interested in taking a deal. He must have something that would either result in a longer prison sentence or would leave their families destitute. Or get them killed.

I reckon they're playing 45's game 'en petit'. 'Keep on hoping that things will work out'.

Are they holding out for a presidential pardon? I always get confused about how the federal/state crimes/pardons work when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of what they've actually been up to and multiple charges etc.

Of course, Cohen has yet to be charged (I think).

I’d agree with this. Let’s not allow him to shape the world to his own imaginings and inventions. Think of how much the geopolitical and the cultural landscapes have altered since his election - we need to put the brakes on somewhere. It is is hard to know how to do it, though, as his influence is so insidious.
