If a group of kids in school targeted one child like this, or a group of women in a workplace did this to a colleague it would most certainly be classed as bullying.
That's a good point, actually - if it was someone else not in the public eye continually being singled out, would that be OK?

Cady they are not at school or in an office. This is a chat group discussing public figures who cherrypick from their own lives to post and make a living.

MOD is not a child and is running a business where she has chosen to turn her children and her own private life into a commodity to be sold

It's like Teresa May saying that every mumsnetter who disagrees with her policies is bullying her and demanding their home addresses. Or Donald Trump saying he is a father and the threads on here don't make his life as a parent easier so delete please.

IGers with huge followings are putting themselves out there as public figures.

They will get the plaudits and the criticism.

Cady this issue is a lot bigger than mums bitching about instamums on mumsnet.

It's not exactly ok no but you will never wipe out negative comments on the internet, you just have to accept it you put your entire life online for the world to see then there are going to be people who won't like you. And that only increases along with your follower numbers.

The solution if you can't hack it, is really only to delete it all.

I don't think there was any bullying on the previous threads. I also don't buy MOD's post I'm afraid. She stokes the fire frequently.

I was on the previous threads with a different username (can't log into it for some reason).

I've started to enjoy the really boring instas- Martha and the farmer's wife. Like watching paint dry 😂

Course they'll get criticism. Personal is different though.
I have to ask though as I was on the thread earlier and saw - what allergy said to a poster was near enough word for word (just one post this time) and just a fraction of what I got on the last thread.

Why is it OK for some to dish it but not others? It's not OK whoever is doing it.

There hasn’t been any bullying on here regarding IG threads and those eye catching names.

Those claiming otherwise are ignorant of what bullying really means and are using the word to elicit sympathy when they’re getting a difficult conversation put in front of them asking for a response.

To be fair it did get a little heated on previous instathreads between a few of us. I guess it's nice that some people feel compelled to defend the instas. Although saying 'I don't care about ads' is just odd.
