I often think about our Kate, with her bevvy of Norton nannies, when it's 2am and DD is screaming again and I still have to get up at 6am to go to work. Kate lies peacefully asleep.

No night shifts for her, no no no. And breakfast is just at the end of a little bell when she finally rises at 9am.

You are so wrong halfwitpicker - she has one (Norland) Nanny. Such assumptions people make.

No, she has 2 (both Norland). The other one joined the fray this year.

So all the guff about her sending the nanny home so she can look after the kids seems unlikely. Three people (possibly 4, as that's Williams excuse for doing bare minimum Royal duties too)) aren't needed to look after 3 children. Why would you employ another nanny if you are doing most of the childrearing? Especially as they don't have to cook or clean.

@DentistWimp - you are not alone in your pain. A friend of mine is about to become a grandmother for the first time - and there are literally NO press camped outside the hospital, waiting to broadcast the happy news! So not fair.
