I LOVE Giles and Mary, but why does Craig Cash always refer to them as 'Giles...and his wife Mary?' Even if it's Mary that's making a point, she always comes second. AIBU to think it should, sometimes be 'Mary...and her husband Giles?'

I love Giles and Mary, the Siddiquis and the family with loads of Rottweilers.

The only thing that annoys me about the Rottweiler family, is they never seem to eat the cakes and biscuits in the middle of the room

I like Giles and Mary, Lee and Jenny and the Siddiquis best. Most of the others are good and, unlike many of you, I like the Blackpool brother and sister, I think they're quite witty in a rather northern way. I'm not sure what the men under the boobs or the two girls in hijabs add, don't like Chris's mum at all and can't bear Mary and Marina, they irritate me no end

Love the idea of Mary moving the chair forward bit by bit so she gets further away from Giles .

And yes, they don’t seem like avid TV watchers. I can almost picture them puzzling out how to set up a living room so that the TV is the main focus, and this is what they came up with .

I have never seen this programme but Mary Killen is a regular weekly columnist for The Lady magazine.

That room they watch tv in is probably "the den" or something, I'm sure they have a drawing room and another sitting room without TVs. They're quite posh.
