I LOVE Giles and Mary, but why does Craig Cash always refer to them as 'Giles...and his wife Mary?' Even if it's Mary that's making a point, she always comes second. AIBU to think it should, sometimes be 'Mary...and her husband Giles?'

The Michaels are really annoying. Love the Malones, Lee and Jenny and the Siddiquis.

I loathe them, but Giles especially. Mary is redeemed slightly because she obviously despises him too. One day she is going to murder him and turn him into compost I'm sure.

Siddiqui family are lovely.
The ones in the caravan are amusing. They seem a laugh.

The Siddiqui family are hilarious, great senses of humour and comedy timing.

Jenny and Lee are brilliant too.

Giles and Mary are my favourite, and then I love Stephen and his mum.

I can't stand Ellie and izzy.

More to the point, why does their wall paper match their sofa?
And how?!

I preferred Stephen when he was with his friend/ex. I don't find him as funny when he is with his Mum.

I like Mary and Giles though - and the Siddiquis - well most of them really.

I like Ralf the German guy too!

That is, most of the families on Gogglebox - not most of the Siddiquis - I like all three of them!

They physically repulse me. 'Nutty' as a nickname somehow only makes me more nauseous. They both look like a) they need a good bath (cat hair and wee springs to mind) and b) they have a sort of swinger vibe.

The Siddiquis seem like the only ones I'd actually speak to in real life.

Couldn't bear to live with him. so irritating. Surprised she manages to put up with him, it'd be divorce if he was my H - PDQ!

I've always thought he introduced them that way because that's how they are seated? They used to be my least favourite ones (after the awful Brighton family), but I really like them now. I was a shocked as Mary when Giles said he had two, TWO choc ices

I would love to go on a date with either of the Saddiqui brothers. Or their Dad to be fair . They're all just pure comedy and seem like proper gentlemen.

The Siddaquis are lovely, they seem very clever and funny. I like Jenny and Lee too.

I don't find Stephen as amusing with his mum either.

Mary and Giles are baffling to me. He's like a posh, old version of Joey Essex - you can't quite decide whether he is as stupid as he seems or whether he's ramping it up for the cameras. I can't warm to Mary much either (although am fascinated by her huge array of patterned tights) but have to admire her patience - id have buried Giles under the patio long ago.

Love Giles and Mary. Love the Saddiqui boys.

Gogglebox Ireland is much funnier than UK though.

I dislike them. By all means have pet names for your partner but keep them for when you're not with others or on TV! I can't stand hearing "Nutty" after every smug, faux-witty comment

I agree about the brother and sister from Blackpool. He was sneery as hell tonight about the contestants from University challenge - making out they were ugly and weird. He's no oil painting himself, he shouldn't be throwing stones! The two sisters are as bad, they're not remotely funny.

I'm not keen on Mary and Giles, I always feel their bits are too staged but I feel like that with Izzy and Ellie.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they sometimes have to do 4, 5, 6 takes until the producer is happy. I think it was Scarlet Moffats book.
