I LOVE Giles and Mary, but why does Craig Cash always refer to them as 'Giles...and his wife Mary?' Even if it's Mary that's making a point, she always comes second. AIBU to think it should, sometimes be 'Mary...and her husband Giles?'

I also love the Siddiqis, Giles and Mary and Jenny and Lee and dislike the Michaels and the brother and sister.

I can't stand watching thick people especially if they take pride in it. The hairdresser's mom and the Welsh woman don't seem to know or understand anything nor care. The middle one of the Jamaican women seems a bit simple.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the boxing trainer dad of the new family. He is HAWT.

I've never noticed before that Mary has her chair in front of giles's. I just thought she had a smaller chair

I don't remember the Tapper boy being overweight either.

yes i think i read the Tapper boy was working with MP's or similar

im guessing thats why he is not on there,due to who he works for etc

There was something in here about him stepping up his gym regime but you’re right it doesn’t talk about weight loss specifically.

I think he needs to give his sister some tips. That poor girl is destined for diabetes before she’s 21 at the rate she’s going.

I finally got round to watching the French and Saunders I recorded at Christmas! Their Giles and Mary sketch was brilliant. Jennifer Saunders had Mary down to a T.

The Tappers don’t add anything worthwhile imo.

I've nothing particularly against the Tappers but they don't stand out for me.

I love Giles.....and his wife Mary. Both a pair of eccentrics and hilariously funny. In fact I love all the gogglebox people. Except maybe the newish family....Can't remember their names but Him and his partner and her two daughters.

The rest of them are totally different to each other and bring something to the table.

BTW - The poster who thought Dave and Shirley are from Carmarthen...They are from Caerphilly and live in the same street as my sister. They are exactly the same outside of the TV.
