Oh the joy of summer!

I don't think anyone's are whiter than mine, they glow in the dark.

purplelila2 · 20/04/2018 14:56

Yes they probably are as I'm naturally darker skinned tee hee

SerenDippitty · 20/04/2018 14:58

Isn't it a bit soon for bare legs anyway? The leaves aren't fully out on the trees yet!

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 20/04/2018 14:58

Mine are a blueish colour, then when I get a tan, they go white.

elQuintoConyo · 20/04/2018 15:01

Mine look like shivering milk!

What is particularly great is that i live in Spain and my pins get commented on EVERY. SINGLE. SUMMER.

Never grows old Hmm

Now we have a dog i wear shorts every time i walk her so at least they get some sun, but they are never as brown as my face/shoulders. But the first few times i get my stringy mozarella legs out of a spring is a bit terrifying!

Redcrayons · 20/04/2018 15:01

mine are covered in tiny cuts from when from I de-forested them yesterday. and they're paler than pale.

Not warm enough for me to put shorts on yet though.

Springtrolls · 20/04/2018 15:02

Tan? haha. What's one of those? My skin eats up the false stuff. Doesn't matter where I go, how long I spend in the sun, what I use, my legs are still blue.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 20/04/2018 15:02

My legs have an albedo of 1.

ThereisanAngryGoosebackthere · 20/04/2018 15:03

Purple - my DD is olive skinned - makes me look even bloody paler!

Danny - you sound as luscious as me - but my legs are still whiter than anyone's !

Mine are probably worse as I seem to tan easily on my tighs and knees and feet but nothing will take to my lower legs. Honestly nothing. Even fake tan. Is it too much shaving? I don't know!

3stonedown · 20/04/2018 15:04

tighs = thighs! Grin

DailyWailEatsSnails · 20/04/2018 15:18

Not warm enough to put shorts on yet?!! Where are you, Scottish highlands? I've skin type 3-4 & it's fierce enough for me to burn today (if I don't manage the exposure sensibly).

treeofhearts · 20/04/2018 15:20

Mine haven't seen sun in 3 years. Extremely high risk for skin cancer so I keep covered as much as I can.

DailyWailEatsSnails · 20/04/2018 15:25

What do you do about getting enough Vit. D, tree?

SerenDippitty · 20/04/2018 15:27

15 degrees het5e today hardly su bathing weather even if the sun is out.

AlmostAJillSandwich · 20/04/2018 15:28

I'm jealous, mine are purple and read from SERIOUSLY bad keratosis pilaris, they look diseased.
I'd kill for them to just be all one colour :P

CarpetMothsFuckOff · 20/04/2018 15:29

Er, it's 28 degrees in London today.

CarpetMothsFuckOff · 20/04/2018 15:30

You can take supplements daily. Everyone in the UK should anyway - there isn't enough sun to get all our required vit D just from that.

Blerg · 20/04/2018 15:33

I'm like Danny - blue, then white. I don't care anymore, but I used to.

SerenDippitty · 20/04/2018 15:34

15 degrees in South Wales.

Somerville · 20/04/2018 15:36

I don't mind being pale and interesting.
I could do without people's jokes about needing sun glasses to look at my legs, though. Hmm

AornisHades · 20/04/2018 15:36

There you are. My leg in all its blue white glory...

Laska5772 · 20/04/2018 15:38

From Space you can see the Great Wall of China and the white glare reflection off my legs..

bu the end of the summer if i really really really try and have a beach holiday in a hot climate they will go a sort of dirty cream.. but most of that is probably dirt anyway )

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 20/04/2018 16:02

Yesterday a colleague laughed at my pale legs and asked if I ever use fake tan.

I was wearing fake tan. Two layers on the legs.

StepAwayFromGoogle · 20/04/2018 16:29

I went on holiday with some uni friends a few years back. At the end of our week-long holiday, one of my friends said she couldn't believe I hadn't got a tan. I said I had and proudly showed her my (very faint) tan line. She then said 'wow, I had no idea anyone could be that white to start with' Grin. Brilliant. I always think of the Billy Connelly sketch: "I'm blue white, it takes me a week in the sun to go white."
