To wonder where the hell he is?

Been seeing someone for a couple of months, at least twice a week but it’s been nearly every day over the past couple of weeks. He has been really into me, cooked for me, taken me away numerous times and said the l word very early on.

We had plans to go to his friends birthday tonight, spoke to him earlier and everything was fine. Text later to let him know what time I would be over, not read and no reply, we are now 2 and a half hours after we were supposed to meet and I haven’t heard from him since 3.30pm. No messages read, no answer to my calls. Getting a bit concerned, where could he be?!

Hope you hear from him. If there's no news today I would consider a cconcern for welfare check with the police, if his friends and mum haven't spoken with him.

I find it hard to trust & understand why pp's are saying he's ghosting / with someone else

Did you ring your local.police? They might know something. For example, if he'd been in an accident and taken to a different hospital not your local one.

I really hope there's a straightforward explanation for all this.

Yes but, if you’re going to ghost someone, would you invite them to an event, contact them totally normally a few hours before it, and then disappear? That seems like an unwise way to go about ghosting someone to me, but maybe he’s also stupid! I don’t know, I don’t know the guy, but I would be very concerned under these specific circumstances, more than I would if a guy said he was going away for a while or something and then ghosted me.
